“Good/fresh food, nice people, with friendly service & affordable $. Sunday Fried chicken sold out just about noon. It's a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. We'll be going back most certainly. For a town of a couple hundred folks they sure are lucky to have this place! Personal + several flavored coffee creamers???? too!”

“A beautiful fall weekend forecast and we were looking for a place offering space to connect with peace, cozy feelings, and time-less ease. We were warmly welcomed by Leann, her gifts of snacks and refreshments, and all the simple, elegant, western-style decor. Together my beloved and I enjoyed sitting outside, in the screened-in porch gently swinging, and listening to nature. As the sun lowered in the afternoon sky, we took our own quilt outside to lay by the pond, reading and feeling the breeze while occasionally watching the fish in the pond jump for the dragonflies. After a quick drive into town for Burnt End tips at Vic's BBQ, we returned to fix additional side dishes in the kitchen and enjoyed a relaxing casual candlelight dinner. Post dinner, we had the take the convertible back out for a brisk country drive back into town for Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream at the Odessa Creamery! The evening was not complete until we took time time to play strategy and word games beside the fireplace light. The perfect private place for a cozy, intimate weekend retreat with abundant nature, including owl and coyote sounds to usher in the night. And my favorite, the fog just outside the windows to soften the morning light!”
