“My Rat Terrier ended her battle with Kidney Failure in the middle of the night. I had her 17 years, this was a big deal for me. We took her to Rolling Acres as recommended by my vet, Overland Park Veterinary Center, once it opened the next morning. I walked in holding her wrapped up in her blanket and bed. I wasn't greeted with a hello, I was greeted by Karen rushing towards me with open arms. She gave me a big hug. She asked me who this was, I told her Ruby. She gently guided me where to go. They have this nice room to place your animal in while you go across the hall to make the arrangements. Having your best friend pass will always be terrible. But Karen made it a wonderful and beautiful experience. I did a private cremation, they have a very thorough system. I received her with a beautiful urn a few days later. As much as I wish I could have her back, I have peace knowing we took her to a place who will care for your animal with love and treat them with respect and dignity. As we left, I was able to appreciate how beautiful the property was. I even received a card in the mail signed by the staff. It meant a lot to us. Thank you everyone at Rolling Acres, you are all appreciated!”
