Visiting places I have enjoyed when I lived in Missouri this past week I wanted to see the foliage of the Fall in Missouri one last time and Weston is a great place for that...the city has had ups and downs but it is resilient and Fall is the best time to be there...back to the food...large portions of whatever you choose from a classic small town menu and the portions are shareable...you leave feeling nicely satisfied and it won't make a dent in your wallet!”

“Great host, good overall experience. Would stay again. We stayed in the cottage, which is detached from the main house. It has pretty dated decor (wood paneling era) and amenities in the cottage, but as a place to crash after a night in Weston I didn't mind. Knocked one star for missing details I'm accustomed to like shampoo and coffee creamer, and it's distance from downtown when on foot. Walking is definitely doable, (we did it), but when it's hot and sticky out it's not as fun.”

“ Each time my travels bring me near Weston, I visit the historical sites the area has to offer. The Weston Museum is a delightful surprise! On past visits, I have seen everything from the piano that was disassembled and shipped overseas to the United States so very many years ago to a framed newspaper article about the slaying of President Lincoln (the actual article is from a newspaper that was printed the day after so it is very old indeed). This museum may be little in stature but I assure you it is mighty and rich in content. I highly recommend visiting this remarkable historical museum.”

“Beautiful 120 year old home right at the top of Main Street so within walking distance to everything. It has a hot tub (the pool is currently not operational). The bedrooms are nice sized with queen bed in each as well as ensuite bathrooms in each. Downstairs are numerous sitting rooms, a dining room, full kitchen and butlers pantry area with 2 full refrigerators, keurig coffee maker, all kitchen necessities, and a beautiful solarium room with a fireplace. This place is huge with a full wrap around porch and ample parking off street. It has changed hands in the last year or so and is no longer a traditional B n B but is a wonderful place to stay. While it needs some updating, new paint, landscaping/weeding, etc (that's all currently in progress) it was perfect for a group of 8 ladies as we rented the entire house for a weekend. It was clean, comfortable, secure and very accessible and a great time was had by all. They even delivered fresh apple and cherry danishes and an assortment of fresh cookies to us in the morning! Had read so many reviews complaining about the state of the home and lack of breakfast etc. that we almost cancelled but so glad we didn't pay attention to those negative reviews. People need to understand its 120 years old, is undergoing a facelift and is just a beautiful piece of history. Plus our contact was very forthcoming that there was no breakfast and no pool at this point. Would stay here again next week or next year...and cant wait to see it once the facelift is done!!!”

“Please check out this outstanding shop. Locally owned and operated by an amazing woman. Whom you can clearly tell is passionate about what she does. She told us many stories on her choices for paintings. We made multiple purchases this trip and are going to definitely be back for future gifts! There’s is a little bit of something for everyone and all price points. Leslie also mentioned starting some classes in the future, which I’m very much interested in.”

“Our favorite shop in Weston. The chainsaw carvings and metal artwork are amazing and the owners are very nice folks who are always willing to answer my son's 50 questions about their artwork or their cat. Can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for a quality one of a kind piece.”
