My wife and I have been members of The Summit for 15 years. There have been ups and downs, but when you are messy human beings that's how life is. We love that we can be accepted into a family of grace even though we are messed up. Great leadership, Great (messed up) people and an Awesome Atmosphere! Come on over!
We have been members of the Summit since 2015. We love the mission of this church, and we truly feel as though we have been embraced by a family of grace. We could not recommend it more highly to those looking for a church family, where the gospel of Jesus Christ is continually the priority and message not just through word but more importantly through action.
We have been going to The Summit for 12 years. I wasn't going to church anywhere when we started going, and the way we were welcomed and have continued to be loved and cared for is amazing. Our children love the kids program they have and they actually WANT to go! I can't imagine what my life would be like had a neighbor not invited me 12 years ago.
Awesome place to worship. Contemporary worship with a phenomenal pastoral leadership and sermon. The Summit excels in their community groups to build relationships with other Christians. I also enjoy that the church is heavily involved in community outreach which was a big part of my choosing this church.
We searched and visited many churches throughout the area, both non denominational and some in specific denominations. This church felt like home. Very gospel based, focused on Christ-centered lives serving our families, neighbors, and communities. Teaching Pastors are excellent who break the Bible down in a way that mature Christians, as well as people who are just now exploring what it means to be a Christian can easily understand. The worship service is a mixture of energetic current worship songs and the occasional old hymns you may have been familiar with as a child.
This church is the main support of the Sharing Shed that helps struggling families in our counties reset their lives. It has helped multiple local church plants in the area, as well as continuing to support three specific global missions in North Africa, Southern Africa, and Guatemala.
The church has a wonderful and safe children's ministry, an energetic youth ministry at the west building, along with the Hispanic church and services at the west building.
The church's additional structure is encouraging involvement in their many Small Community Groups which meet several times monthly in a social and study capacity. They also offer counseling services and have other support groups.
Great place to go if you're looking. I've been attending since 2005.
