“The bathrooms were TERRIBLE BUT this is very nice place to relax and hangout. The park was clean not overcrowded and the fishing is good if you have a little patience! Lol all the men left empty handed most were out all day. Fortunately I'd been watching a particular spot and wouldn't ya know it I caught 5 catfish all by myself different sizes. Not sure what the other 7 fish are called but they're a good size fish...For a first time fisher-woman 😁😁 I think this place is the bomb.com”

“Great spot to put your RV for exploring St Charles. What a neat town with very friendly people. My wife loved the little shops. Yes it is true there is airplanes that fly over head and a train on one end but for our two trips here it has been quiet. We like the flat concrete pads and it is located right next to the Katy Trail. So for us it meets our needs for a great weekend.”

“This place is beautiful. I love the lake and across the trail is a creek also. My husband and I spent time at both. Very nice quiet place.”

“Bought this bracelet for my girlfriend and I. It was amazing to see her face when the magnetic balls clicked together. This park is pretty cool too, but I did not give it to her here. I did it in a much more romantic setting. This park is good for hitting balls and playing on the playground. The toilets are primitive but definitely better than pooping in an outhouse. I will definitely visit this place again.”

“Today, I visited Memorial Hall to see the plans for a new St. Charles Park. It seemed nice to me. The large room had a wooden floor. Two of the walls had plenty of windows. On the way to the room I saw a smaller room that looked like it was used for presentations or movies. I think, I read that the large room can hold 250 people for wedding receptions / rentals. There were not 250 people in there today. Today, there were a few tables set up and a lot of easels with posters showing plans of the future park. We went around the room visiting the different displays. The room did well for the event I attended and allowed for social distancing.”

“I go for the skatepark. But the lake itself is nice as well. Good fishing spot, its ducked off behind trees so its peaceful and quiet. Theres a trail you can walk your dog if you wish.”

“We really love 370 Lakeside Park and not only because it is ten minutes from the granddaughters. The park is very well kept and the staff is kind and accommodating. There is lake that is perfect for kayaking (no motor boats) and fishing (do not need a license if you are a guest at the park). A 3+ mile walking/biking trail that circles the lake with enough small rises to get the heart rate up a bit. At the end of the lake there is a beautiful (and protected) wetland area perfect for bird watching. The park has a dog park plus there is a lot of paved and grassy space to walk a furry kid. If you have human kids there is a small playground and a sand volleyball court that seems to have more sandcastles than volleyball games. The RV park proper is large. There are three loops of RV spaces two of which have concrete pads. All are very level and most have full hookups. The end spaces in each loop have a direct view of the lake. And, there is a lot of space between RVs with grass BUT there are NO trees. If you are looking for shade, you are out of luck. All in all this is a great park with rates on par with other parks with comparable services. We are traveling with a 39 foot fifth wheel.”

“A beautiful treasure near St Louis where Missouri River meets Mississippi River. The entry to confluence park is through a gravel off road. It’s amazing to see the waters merge. Loved being at this place. A must visit, want to go there again! Good for bird watching too!”

“Nice short walk to the river.nice view with benches to sit on. The wreck of the riverboat Montana is directly across on the st Louis side. When the river is low you can walk on the remaining portion left there after sinking in 1889. Very cool I have pictures of it in my old phone”

“This place is absolutely gorgeous. The parking lot is pretty good. Everything is well maintained. There's plenty to see inside and out. I would say is good for kids over five. This is definitely a great spot for bird watching.”

“This is a great park. Big playground and they have a toddler area. The splash pad is a lil small but its pretty neat. It has a lil waterfall and its like a stream that goes down leading to a small area splash pad. My kids always have a blast.”

“This is our favorite park in the St. Charles area. Seems to be less crowded than Jaycee but still a lot of fun. Very cool playground with lots of slides. There are a couple pavilions and a nice walking trail with some memorials. Park is located in back at a safe distance from any baseball fields. Bathroom close to the playground area. There is a smaller toddler size climber and slide play area off to the side and an exercise area. My kid always asks to go to this park. It’s a lot of fun!”
