“Wife and I had our 15th wedding anniversary dinner at Bugatti's in the Ameristar Casino. It was a bit dark for my taste, but cozy and friendly. We started with a nice cabernet. To try something new, we bought a $120 middle-of-the-price-list bottle of Faust which was quite decent. The complimentary rosemary focaccia was delicious, and my Caesar salad (*with* the anchovies - they asked) was perhaps the best I have had, with a delightful crisped sheet of toasted parmesan in it instead of just some shredded from a block. The toasted ravioli they brought was tasty, if not as impressive - until I hit a massive chunk of gristle. I didn't want to ruin the evening with an excessive reaction, so I didn't bother to complain and send it back, but I didn't eat any more of that, either. I suspect they would have replaced it. My wife's salmon was excellent. My own $60 12oz medium filet came with a single tiny chunk of roasted tomato with garlic and some greens, as you can see un the photo. The tomato was delicious, but ridiculously small. I predicted that as a restaurant norm and had already asked for a sliced fresh beefsteak tomato, which went very well with the meal. I also got cheddar garlic mashed potatoes which were wonderful, but could not effectively get them out of the dish they came in with my fork, and ended up leaving behind more than I liked. The filet mignon was also quite tasty, but was *not* medium - it was *very* well done, with not the slightest hint of pink. When the waitress came to ask if everything was alright I had already eaten a third of it - it *was* good, and I was in good spirits, but she was appalled, and took it back to the kitchen. They brought me out another, and didn't charge me for either. Note that she wasn't slow or late, I was just eating enthusiastically. The second one was perfect. They also gave us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. We got the tiramisu, and I reccommend that to anyone.”

It's not a cheap dinner but not astronomical however I felt my nonalcoholic drink was higher than it should be as it was small and no alcohol. “We had Max's pizza for the first time tonight, and it won't be out last! We got a large sausage which comfortably fed a family of 3 with a few slices left over. The sausage is ground up, and I love that. The sauce is phenomenal, and the crust is great! The crust is thin until you get to the outside and then it is thick and chewy! The owners are the sweetest people who you can sit and talk to for hours. The price was extremely reasonable. I think we paid around $21 for our large 1 topping. Highly recommend this place!”

“Tonight, we ordered 3 items and when it was delivered by Paul, one of the items was missing. Paul was very apologetic and said that he would call on the way back and it would be ready to go. He then asked the kids what soda they like and promised to throw in a comp bottle. In a half hour, Paul returned as promised with the cheese pizza and soda for the kiddos. Kudos to Paul for turning an error into a great customer experience. Thank you!”

“I come here often and have never once been disappointed. I am a celiac (major wheat/rye/barley allergy) and have always felt safe eating here and I have never had a reaction to their gluten free offerings. I would strongly recommend coming here as the staff are super friendly and personable. There may/will be a wait for food as they cook from scratch but it is definitely worth the wait, plus gluten free food takes a while to make already. I strongly recommend going on the weekdays they are open as weekends are incredibly busy. Their gluten free desserts are also delicious and I encourage trying all they have to offer (specifically the crumb cakes but they do have other things like cinnamon rolls, cookies, and other assorted desserts). Prices are reasonable and the portions are decently sized. I had a full stack of blueberry pancakes, and while I probably should not have eaten that much, I am glad I did as they were amazing.”

“We found this place on Google maps and we were very close. Got a bit hesitant when we pulled up at 12:15 on a sunny Saturday - there appeared to be maybe 2 cars out front. I was worried they were either closed or we had made a bad decision. Turns out folks were likely at places with patios - their loss. We grabbed a seat and the bartender was also our waitress. Even running double duty she kept checking on us and made sure our drinks stayed full. We ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap and a mushroom and Swiss burger. Chips on the side of one and tots on the side of the other. Our food came out crazy fast and everything was great. My burger was huge and tasted like it was cooked on a grill. The seasoning on the tots and chips was super yummy. My buddy enjoyed his chicken wrap too. I was torn between a few choices so I’d gladly return.”
