“Bilateral stage 4 knee OA. already discussed TKR w/ multiple surgeons. As a last ditch, grasping effort, I decided to search for a Chinese Medicine dr. Acupuncture and the whole bit. Somehow I was lucky enough to stumble upon Dr. Farotto. I’ve had stem cell/bone marrow/PRP injections, $800 donjoy offloading knee braces, $1,000 syncisc-1 hylauronic acid ultrasound guided injections, multiple rounds of PT w/ different clinics, some famous PTs that work on professional STL athletes, did the exercises religiously.. and those things helped a little, none of that really helped enough for the pain to stop impacting my life. This guy watches me walk and says “oh yeah… here, put this in your shoe, stuck some pins in my knees, cracked my back, told me a few key vitamins and a handful of easy, slightly strange exercises and stretches unlike no PT has ever assigned. W/ in 1 month I was 50% better coming 1x per week.
