This is a simple yet beautiful National Park. It’s awesome bring steps away from downtown St. Louis and the view of the arch is amazing from every angle. Be sure to plan out AT LEAST 6 hours of your day to walk the park, tour to the top, watch the documentary and explore the museum. tons of information, artifacts, and photo opportunities. The small ponds next to the arch are beautiful and dyed blue that really makes them pop. Also, the scooters you can ride around town shut off on the national park property because it’s a no ride/park zone for the scooters. So just a heads up that you can’t cruise around the park you’ll have to walk.
The modern elegance of the St Louis Gateway Arch has always appealed to me. Visiting provided a new experience, feeling the uniform proportions - equally high as wide creates deeper appreciation. The elevator system feels safe and is a good ride. The view in evening is especially nice. In London England there is Big Ben the great clock tower, In silicon valley one has the Golden Gate Bridge, in New York - the Empire State Bldg, the Gateway Arch is special as a landmark due to its simplicity and modern elegance. It is a very nice design and worth visiting to put a hand on and look out from the top.
Parabola. High score kinda guy
This a must see while in the St Louis area.
Disappointed we got there to late to go into museum or gift shop. Plaza is beautiful.
