“I have been going to Ghent Station Medical Associates since March 2019. I have read the reviews and can't believe what I am reading. My experience has been nothing but great. I have received excellent care, I am not exaggerating when I say that Traci Ellison saved my life. I cannot remember ever waiting more than two to five minutes in the waiting room. This is really important to me. Over the years, I have waited for long periods in waiting rooms and I really hate that. The Ghent Station waiting room is huge, not cramped like so many waiting rooms I have been in. They also have set some rules about how many are in the waiting room at any given time. This is not true for a LOT of waiting rooms. In recent months, I had to go with a fimily member to CHKD and was shocked by the tiny waiting room and the crowded conditions. People filled the room shoulder to shoulder, stood in the foyer and in the hallway. It took us forty minutes to be seen. The management of the waiting room is important to me especially now given the issues with Covid. The rules have changed with Covid - I do not think Ghent Station is an emergency or "walk in" kind of operation at this point in time. For me personally, I am glad they are not a "walk in" operation at this location. It probably would work to some extent to have sick people in the waiting room with healthy people because it really is a huge waiting room. However, currently they do not let people pile up in the waiting room. You come by appointment, no overcrowding, no waiting. On occasion I have been in the waiting room with or one or two others and this includes pre-pandemic. As far as the staff - they have always been great. I cannot think of even one complaint and that is coming from someone who is typically critical in my reviews. I find that I do not make any demands or need to make any demands on the practice - by that I mean I cooperate with the way they need to do things. But it works for me because I agree with all the precautions they take - therefore I do not get upset, if there are instances of inconvenience, because I agree with the process. We all know that we do not all agree when it comes to Covid. I give high marks based on my experience over the last 2 1/2 years.”

“The Pharmacist, Gary, is always willing to help cut through the red tape of the insurance companies. He takes his time to explain possible side effects and drug interactions. He approaches all of this with a pleasant attitude and respect for the customer. The Pharmacy at Walgreens at 1400 N. Grand in St. Louis, MO is successful because Gary actually cares about the needs of each customer.”
