“This beautiful park is our dog’s favorite place on the planet. When my husband first got us the membership, I wasn’t sure it was going to be worth the money, but it totally has been. It’s a lovely place to go spend a couple hours with your dog. Milo loves playing fetch and never tires of going for a swim in the pond.”

“My Dad has always loved this sculpture. Everytime we were in DC we went to see it. It was moved out here. I decided to take my dad. He had no idea it was moved out here. Brought back a little of my childhood.”

“This was a great, moderate hike. Very well maintained and partially paved. Plenty of nature to be seen. If you're just out for an easy hike make sure you stay on this trail. It links up with other trails that will quickly turn into unpaved, hilly, rustic and rocky trails. All the trails were well marked though. I personally went to explore and found some amazing spots off trail, because that's where life really happens 😉, but it's not for the faint of heart. Terrain was quite difficult in spots. Seen porta potties and a drinking fountain, but did not test functionality. Great family destination, plenty of room to run around. Picnic tables and grills. Pet friendly as long as they're leashed. Limited parking, but seemed like alot of turnover, so you probably wouldn't have to wait long for a spot. Overall, a great way to spend an afternoon.”

“Beautiful lush park. I felt like a velociraptor or T-Rex was going to pop out. Gorgeous tree cover, deep valleys, and primitive trails for hiking or running. Camping sites and equestrian stuff avail, too.”

“This is a small tract of land for how much it has for the true nature lover. Come see natural Missouri wildflowers if you look closely. Yes, the edges are infested with Honeysuckle but the forest in generally pretty healthy for being in such a populated area.”

“Has swings, a few slides, a field, basketball court, and an eating area, and a few benches. A lot of teens hang around here but will most likely be respectful if you bring your kids to play and buzz off.”
