“This is one of the best places to hike! It has a paved trail as well as other trails that you can walk on. Parking can be limited sometimes, but if you get there early in the morning or late in the evening that is the best time to hike. My husband and I love taking our dogs to this park! The dogs always bark enthusiastically as we pull into Emmenegger!❤”

“Nice park picnic area reserved today for my sons heavenly 41st birthday party . Street parking only on a very busy roadway. Picnic tables and benches in need of repair. Muddy area with standing water right next to pavillion increased flies. Also noted couples wasp next in ceiling. Grandkids loved play ground equipment.”

“What a great park for the 2-5 year old crowd! The park was built in 2019 and has great stuff for little ones. All the parents were masks. There are swings and slides and a mini water park feature. Completely fenced in with safety gates. Park is very clean and well maintained.”

“Trail has splenty of shade, scenery, and diverse paths. Follows the river which means you may see quite a few mosquitos so spray repellent and wear long sleeves/pants. They do have some shortcuts you can take if you don't mind large inclines, but you'll be able to get to the main scenes much more quickly.”

“It's a decent neighborhood commons area. The playground is fun and there are a couple basketball hoops. There are very reactive dogs in the backyards that line the park. So expect barking if you spend time there. I bring pepper spray because I get concerned they may jump over the fencing and come after me and my dog. Also be careful if you plan to run or exercise your pets through the park. Some people let there dogs dig out there, so there are some ankle-breaking holes scattered about.”

“Great course. Everyhole is pretty much ace-able which makes it incredibly fun to play. Lots of creativi went into the design and it offers great shade making it a top choice for summer time. The few that help run this course have put in a lot of work. Signage is easy to follow. The vegetation is thick and discs can get lost from bad shots, soo disc golf. This place is a great addition to the area and is already surpassing many of the local courses in it's short existence compared to some that have been around for decades.”

“I have very fond memories of Blackburn Park, which span over 5 decades. My family had many picnics there, starting when I was about five years old, I also played baseball there, growing up, and as a young adult, I partied in the park with my friends. When I became a father, I took my boys to Blackburn Park to play when we would come back into town, and now that I'm in my 60s, it's one of the parks I enjoy with my dog, Lacey. The park has a couple of baseball fields, a nice playground, picnic pavilions and areas, and plenty of open space in which to kick back and enjoy nature.”

“There is an incredible arboretum here of many large old trees of many kinds, so it is a great place to wander. There are also incredibly maintained gardens packed with perennial flowers around the building and memorial fountain. Lots of perfect baseball fields some wonderful old stone BBQ grills with chimneys (1930s?). A natural urban stream runs through here so I see geese and groundhogs. The cottonwoods in the middle are quite majestic.”
