“We did the Trail Among the Trees on a very nice February day. It hadn't rained in a few days, so the trail was nice and dry, but there were a few spots that would be a mess after a good rain. Most of the trail was narrow but paved. There were a lot of interesting stopping points, including several overlooks with benches. Toward the end of the trail, the pavement ended, and we walked down into an old quarry, near a large creek bed. The rocks were covered in a thick layer of deep green moss, but there were enough bare spots to climb on. Understand the rocks was a cool cave-like area just big enough to climb into. There is also a closed off cave toward the end that was interesting to check out. You can't climb in, but it's still worth climbing around & adventuring around.”

“Lobby was clean and inviting. Check In was after 10 pm. Staff was friendly. Elevator could use some attention. I remember whatever was on the wall was torn. There wasn't an ice machine on the floor I was on. I had to come downstairs for ice. Breakfast was laughable. Same breakfast you find at the dirt cheap hotels. The breakfast area is VERY Nice and stayed clean. Despite so, I paid for a decent breakfast elsewhere. Room was clean and of moderate size. AC worked well. I felt safe. I honestly would stay there again as long as the rate is acceptable. Parking lot was somewhat annoying because some of the guests took up 2 parking spaces. The street that you turn on wasn't that noticeable to me in the dark. I bypassed the street twice. There are two more hotels in the same area. I am unsure whether other guests had the same problem. IMO, This is a true 3 star hotel. There are NOT any amenities that I noticed. So, it's rated high by me based on other 3 star hotel. It would have been nice if the grass where I parked was cut back more. Despite so, the rabbit enjoyed it. I stayed 2 days.”

“The only bad thing I have to say is there is a bit of a wait to get your food. It’s worth the wait though, because the food tastes so fresh when they bring it to you. The chicken was fried to perfection- nice crunch on the outside and super juicy on the inside. It was very well seasoned also. I ordered a chai tea latte as my beverage and it was delicious as well. The pricing is nice, the staff is courteous and the mood is relaxing and mellow. I highly recommend this place! But please be patient”

“My parents switch nursing facilities to have care in the same room and be together. They were blessed to be accepted to enter full nursing care here during Covid. As with any elderly care, it is not easy. I feel the nurses and staff did a great job of caring for my parent’s spiritually, and physically. They knew when they needed more care with hospice and we appreciated them using their heart and knowledge to offer that service. I felt they did a good job of controlling pain and keeping them comfortable. Words cannot express how much we truly appreciate the hospice team, even after my parents passed away. Gods Blessings to all staff.”
