“Once the bridge is updated the noise won't be too bad. The train passes 6 to 8 times every 24 hours and can be pretty intense. Sites could be a bit more level as well. Park is full grass and looks like tent camping is coming soon to the rear of the park. The walking trail around the lake is nice. Covered picnic tables and nice little playground for kids. 1 washer 1 dryer. Hot showers. The camp host was very nice. Firewood sold on site. Take the long way around that is paved. The map is on the website we're you can also make your reservations. Stay in the lower number site away from the tracks and bridge.”

“VIP Corporate Housing managed the condo my family lived in during our relocation to St. Louis. We stayed longer than we expected due to Covid and a competitive housing market, and they were able to accommodate us for that extra time we needed to close on our home. In regards to the rental, we were pleased with the condition of the unit and all the amenities it offered. Whenever we encountered any issues with the unit they were always dealt with promptly.”

“Where do I begin? First, Glenna and Rob are the most amazing people and the ultimate hosts for a B&B. We decided to have an extended weekend while attending our niece's wedding in Weston and we are so very glad we chose The Steamboat Inn! Glenna gave us a tour of the beautiful Inn upon our arrival and told us wonderful stories about the Inn's history. We then enjoyed a fabulous happy hour with the other guests on their lovely deck and the time flew by. The Inn is a few blocks and easy walk to Main Street and all the shops and restaurants - which are so fun! Sunday morning we were treated to Glenna's fantastic breakfast - the orange scones were melt in your mouth delicious! And, she was so sweet to make a fabulous vegetarian apple and potato hash just for me (I am a vegetarian)! Our room was so lovely and the bed was like a cloud. The old timer is royal and a hoot, has listened to my requests, has incorporated staff to resolve issues, a few completed slower than others, but I get it...i find my pad in the park clean, quiet, and have yet to meet anyone out of bounds..plus the cop patrol is readily passing and parking out front from time to time😀”

“Great spot to put your RV for exploring St Charles. What a neat town with very friendly people. My wife loved the little shops. Yes it is true there is airplanes that fly over head and a train on one end but for our two trips here it has been quiet. We like the flat concrete pads and it is located right next to the Katy Trail. So for us it meets our needs for a great weekend.”

“I've lived here long enough to renew my lease and its the best home I've rented in nearly 10 years. Rules are enforced and I love that. If it was not strict, it would not look as nice as it does. You get what you pay for 100%. I even got a new tree planted in my yard, the main road was recently repaved, lawns stay mowed, snow gets plowed. Those things matter. Sure, kids/teens roam the neighborhood, but that's just what they do no matter where you live. The office is responsive & personal - I've never had any issue with them. In fact, they've gone above and beyond nearly every time including helping me pick a really nice home here.”

“Out of all the many B&Bs we have visited over the years the Main Street Inn B&B is the best one my husband and I have ever stayed in. Everything was wonderful. Loving birds, I chose the Audubon room and was not disappointed. Beautiful, comfortable and roomy. The host, Patrick, did everything possible to make all his guests comfortable and told great historical stories about the inn and the town. The decor, loaded with excellent art, was simply amazing and beautiful. Plus the breakfast each day was a gourmet delight. In addition there was a coffee station on each floor for guests that held a variety of delicious coffees and some of the best hot chocolate around. All in all, a great and relaxing time thanks to the generous hospitality of the hosts, the beauty of the decor and the comfort of the inn itself.”

“I've been living here since 2013, the apartments are small but this suits me perfectly. They were a little bit run down when I got here but have been sold to new owners of which has been working very hard to get the place fixed up. They have recently hired a live on site manager and she has made a huge impact for the apartments that she has worked on. She fixed a leak in the ceiling that was the first thing she had to do when she was first hired on and she was very professional and thorough down to the details of her repair. The changes that have been done here are a variety of areas I think what these two have been able to get accomplished here are pretty awesome and I love it here. It's been home for 10 years now and I am hoping that it will be home for many more years ahead.”

But the managers are also so kind, so quick to respond and will seriously do anything they can to help. This park is mostly older folk and lots of families so it's nice and quiet. “Beautifully decorated cottage! Absolutely spotless! The beds were very comfortable. Two of my girlfriends from high school flew in for three nights and we totally enjoyed our girl-time visiting Excelsior Springs. Would highly recommend Willow Springs Mercantile's downstairs restaurant/bistro, Ventana Gourmet Grill and the Dubious Claims Brewing Company. We also went to The Elms for their Ghost Tour! “My girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed this unique warehouse. Our weekend stay here was so fun! The area is full of warehouses. Some are under renovation and graffiti artists have obviously been in the area. As an artist myself, I totally get the industrial art feel and gentrification. Cool Caribbean manly themes throughout. A bit manly but that was fine. Needs more mirrors. The bar had live music we enjoyed. Parking is right outside the entry door and was super safe and free. Close to everything downtown! Everything was super clean and beds were comfortable. Great host and great times!! Would definitely stay again.”

“The place is getting better with the new company that bought it last December. The are putting new rules and bringing new homes. They are renting and selling used and new places. My experience was good for 6 years that I stayed there. The schools district fox is good . Pets are allow all the homes got parking for two cars or more. You are in one of the greatest location Fenton MO just a mile from walmart and the bluffs plaza . There is tenants with their own starting business such are mechanical work, welders, lawn care. You have lots of choices to rent, buy or bring your own mobile home.”

“I was hesitant to book a room here with all the terrible reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here. Our room was nice and clean. The bedding was in great shape, clean and the bed was not bad at all, even with me already having back issues. Staff was pleasant and courteous. The complimentary breakfast was better than most offer recently including hot waffles. Don't let the bad reviews, particularly the older ones, fool you. This place has been nicely renovated and in this price range is one of the best places I've stayed in recent years.”
