The food was out of this world delicious... so much we almost forgot to take photos. The cornbread was the best I have tasted in years. So many places are dry and tasteless, but not here. The cornbread was clearly freshly made and cut to order and had not only a great flavor but also very soft and fluffy. They also let you add buns to your larger orders to make sandwiches. We opted to try the platter to get a little of each of the three meats. They did not disappoint at all. The baked beans are in the top three I have had, and the Mac and cheese was perfect. Highly recommended and will be back for sure.
Best BBQ in the area. I love their meal combos. The smoked sauage and the brisket is my favorite. This was my first time trying their loaded grits, and they were amazing. Their BBQ sauce is a great addition to their meats. Highly Recommend!!!
This is my first time ever having food from Porky Butts...it is seriously some of the best sausage I've ever had!! My husband was in love with the juicy turkey. We both were infatuated with the beans!! A MUST have!!
First time eating at this establishment and the 25 minutes waiting to order was worth it. Be sure during busy times, send a person from your group to get a table while the rest of your group waits in line to order. Burnt ends have to be my favorite on the menu; and the brisket chili is definitely worth mentioning. French fries were perfect. Sausage and pulled pork were very good and I liked having a choice of spicy barbecue sauce that was available at each table. For the amount of food; I think that price was very reasonable. I do like a cold beer with my BBQ; but not offered here. This will not keep me from ever coming back though.
Hands down the best BBQ n town, probably in the Midwest. Out of the many times I have been here the food is consistently good. One time they forgot my sauce and cornbread on a to go order so check twice before you leave, but the food more than made up for it. Do yourself a favor and get the burnt ends. Will be back!
