“This is an older building in a busy part of town, close to many restaurants and parks. The elevators are small, but functional. Checking in was fine, the clerk was very accommodating and gave us a nice corner room. The room was spacious. The bed was comfy and we both got a great night sleep. The room was superficially clean but if you looked closely in the corners , it could have been cleaner. The shower was strong and hot, but lots of chips in the paint in the tub. Breakfast was standard Choice fare, but they had a circular counter for the hot food which was appreciated as it kept people from blocking the waffle makers. There were 3 breakfast attendants who were working very hard to keep things full.I recommend this as a nice hotel. I read the other reviews and we did not notice any bad smells. When reading the other reviews you need to remember this is a budget hotel, not a 4 Seasons, and I think it was a great option.”

I was pleasantly surprised by how fully stocked the shelves were and the overall cleanliness of the store. 100 percent better than dollar tree stores I've been too. They have a very large selection of food items which I did not realize. I would shop here again.”

And it's not because she greets you with a cheerful, sing song "hello" as you walk in or offers you a variety of beverages from which to choose... You'll get none of that. Laura is there to do her job and it's a job she believes in, getting what you came for and that it's done to your specifications. MJ optical ain't fancy nor is it terribly service oriented, in the way we think of it when we walk into a salon, but its backbone is honest, ethical practices, which will have you out the door seeing far better than you did when you walked in and carrying a heftier purse than if you had been unaware of its existence and gone somewhere else.”
