“Runza has the best cheeseburgers in town hands down. Everything always comes out fresh and tasty. When nightingale into a burger it’s like an explosion of flavor for every bite. The fries are very delicious as well. They’re cooked with perfection every time. I’ve yet to have a soggy fry from here. The best part is that they are not overly salted. The facility is very clean and clutter free. Tables are continuously wiped down and well maintained. The staff is super friendly and always staying busy. I’ve yet to run into an unhappy face here. Good Job Runza!”

“Boys play baseball here. I also love to walk around the newly expanded pond. Nice paths and not too busy. Just wish people would take care of the park better. Parking lot can be messy with broken glass.”

“Stopped in for a quick pick-me-up during the lunchtime hour on a Tuesday. The barista was super sweet and helped us pick out the right drinks. The coffee itself was delicious. More than anything though, the vibe inside the cafe was spectacular, a cute little shop and a great way to support local coffee!”

“Omaha Kung Fu Academy is one of Omaha’s best kept secrets. Walking through this door gets you quality instruction, intense workouts, and quickly learned self defense techniques. Wing Chun Kung Fu is perfect for self defense, and Sifu Jacob Stiver’s lineage traces directly back to Ip Man, a Wing Chun legend known for training Bruce Lee. Sifu Stiver is patient, friendly and kind. And with several decades of experience in numerous martial arts, in training and real world scenarios, he’s greatly knowledgeable as well. The students are also respectful and nice, with more senior students taking the time to help novices. This is a cerebral group of men and women, with no aggressive meatheads throwing you around. (However, movie quotes are thrown around constantly.) The classes are challenging as Sifu moves us along quickly, but he works with everyone to make sure we understand the proper technique and footwork. Also, he includes teaching videos in the cost of tuition, so you can practice at home too. He teaches classes six days a week, including Wing Chun, Hung Gar (a powerful Shaolin style), and weapons classes. He also teaches lion dance. When I started, I was out of shape. After three classes a week, my back, legs and core are much stronger, I’ve gone down a waist size, and I’ve become much more flexible. Most importantly though, I’ve learned new defensive blocks, as well as effective arm strikes and leg kicks. And because Wing Chun isn’t as much of a force on force style, my joints don’t take a beating like they did in other styles. I’ll leave you with one suggestion though: work on your leg strength before you start. They say here that every day is leg day. That’s no joke!”

“Butter chicken. It’s what I eat (at Indian restaurants, at least), and it was delicious here! A touch spicier than I’m used to, but bursting with flavor and I wouldn’t change a thing (just order 1 or 2 lower on the spicy-scale than you maybe have in the past). The vibe was lively, and the server was kind and attentive. Highest recommendation!”

“I think it’s odd that you only get rice and beans with your meal if you come in for lunch. That should definitely be a dinner option being as though a lot of other places do that. I had to pay $3 for a side of rice and another $3 for a side of beans. Water should also be free.”

“We bought a Durango from Peter here at AK Used Auto Sales and it was an all around awesome experience. He’s an honest man and sold us a reliable vehicle for our family of 6. We plan on coming back for a second car in September and we’ll definitely be back here.”

“Stopped for lunch on a bitter cold day. Delicious food. Ordered the buffalo crab dip and extra pita slices per the waitress recommendation. She was right, the number of pita slices is way too few for the dip (6)....it's low cost and high satisfaction to just give a more reasonable amount then making the guests order more for $2 more 🙄. Kid had the burger and fries, good amount for a kids meal, my hungry kid was satiated. He also had the "baby shark" drink, HUGE HIT! And the Fries, oh man, how delicious. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with just a hint of salt! We have the Cajun pasta and "that" chicken sandwich. Pasta and chicken needs more seasoning to be considered "Cajun", it tastes like a mildly spiced chicken Alfredo. "That" chicken sandwich was really THAT amazing. It was enormous and flavorful, I would return for this sandwich alone. it was slightly over fried and still was juicy and spiced right”

“If you can possibly get a reservation, definitely do it. I am not wealthy by any means but I managed to get a seat once in September. Best meal of my life. Loved it so much I got seats for myself and my boyfriend visiting from London last month. If you love special food experiences, this is the pinnacle of them all. Some of the best sushi in the country. The chance to sit down with David and hear about the unique way he has learned his craft is also very special. There’s nothing else like this!”
