“This is the church where I worship God and take Bible study and attend Sunday school, for adults 😋 I absolutely love the pastor his family. The church family has been warm and welcoming since the first visit I made to the church. I freely ask questions and get prompt answers. I've even asked Pastor Nolan to officiate my upcoming wedding. I first attended with my future sister-in-law and husband on an open invitation and I found my place. Now I have met some patrons and made friends with other members of the church. This, to me, is where I belong! A big thank you to Pastor Nolan Hayes and the First Baptist Church family. I feel so at home here!”

“My cars starter went out last week. I called for a tow truck to take it to have someone look at it. The gentlemen got it to start and told me where I could get it serviced quickly. When it was time to take my car to get the starter replaced the same gentleman came and towed my car and let me ride along to my appointment. I asked him if I was going to get charged for him coming out the first time he said no which was super nice of him. They were professional and really friendly and for a tow not to unreasonable.”

“I had a friend pass away unexpectedly who had received equipment from AHP in Lincoln, NE. When I called to see what I needed to do to return the equipment they staff was very helpful and friendly. I had to set an appointment due to Covid however when I arrived I was greeted outside and they unloaded everything for me. They were very caring and understanding. “The Nebraska P.E.O. Home is a wonderful place for our older sisters to spend their twilight years. Chapters throughout the state send birthday and holiday cards to the residents. Residents take shopping trips, meet for card games in the parlor, sing around the piano, enjoy visiting on the veranda. Chapters in Beatrice and nearby communities can come in to hold their meetings at the Home. The quality of medical care is also superlative with levels ranging from light assisted living to full time hospital level nursing care. Doctors, dentists and specialists make scheduled visits or residents can be transported to their appointments as needed. I almost wish I could fast forward to the age when I can move in to this lovely and loving place!”
