Nebraska National Guard Museum

I had a great time. I did this stop on the Nebraska Passport program and I learned a lot about the history of Nebraska and the history of the Nebraska National Guard.

We started with a video that explained how the National Guard came into being in Nebraska. Then after the film, we walked the museum and traced the ops of the National Guard in the world wars to the present.

They have a ton of artifacts and historical uniforms and weapons that are well worth the time to check out. It was a very good time and is an excellent stop to be included in the passport program.

Also, the gentleman working the desk was extremely friendly and helpful and answered all our questions.

Small but a fun museum! They let us have a tour with our dog and he sure had fun there! (I personally enjoyed seeing souvenirs from my own country in a small town in Nebraska)

Absolutely shocking how cool this stuff is. Interactive displays, and when you are in the gun room you can open the drawers and check out stuff you didn't even know existed. Great time really informative.

Outstanding dedication to the Nebraska National Guard’s impressive history. The building is very well done, showing a myriad of historical items dating back to the Nebraska Guards inception and through the many campaigns it participated. I’d recommend anyone interested in military history or a glimpse into Nebraska’s involvement in the country’s history, visit this landmark.

This is a great place to visit. I'm in the national guard and the history inside this building is fantastic. There are interactive displays that you would never believe were in such a small town. They also update displays regularly so you can visit different times and have a new experience. The staff is super friendly and helpful. All in all a great place to visit and have a great time.
