The Carson City Plaza Hotel & Events Center

Convenient to downtown right next to Reds 395 restaurant. It is old but everything works and the staff was excellent. Breakfast was sub-par plan on eating out for breakfast. They do have coffee 24\7 in the lobby. Overall a safe clean place to stay.

Both on the phone and in person I was treated graciously. It was easy to book a room and also to extend the stay an extra day. The ladies at the front desk went over and above to provide suggestions and information for attractions in the area. There are multiple buildings at the Plaza Motel. We stayed in the main building. The building was very clean and the walls nicely painted in the hallways as well as in our room. The bed and pillow was comfortable. There was a microwave, fridge, small table with 2 chairs, bedside tables, TV and dresser. The hotel is older and there are a few items that could use some updates but it is definitely clean, comfortable and safe. The breakfast was a simple continental breakfast, no hot foods but certainly sufficient to start the day. It's in a location that makes it easy to get to Virginia City, Gold Hill and other areas to explore. There are laundry facilities on the premises. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

The location is great, right on the main road and closer to a couple of casinos.
The breakfast was not bad but not great either. Boiled eggs, yogurt, bread, butter, English muffin, cereals and milk. Waffles were frozen to my surprise.

Overall decent stay for the price.

Nice hotel with a super staff. The room was big and comfortable with a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was okay they had a good laundry room. Great food choices within walking distance. The staff made all the difference. They really went out of their way to take care of me and it was much appreciated.
