It's a McDonalds near a theme park. Should say it all, right?
Prices are higher, many regular "cheap menu" items aren't available.
The whole place is designed around self service. Don't expect to order at the front counter; you'll be using a kiosk - which is fine ... There are plenty of them. They are overall easy to use; simple to navigate and get custom orders done.
The staff was okay when you spoke to them but you can tell this is a low-customer interactive place.
I'll warn you that the customer display board isn't super accurate. I had my order number and it showed up on the "in progress side" (as expected) but then it vanished and didn't appear on the side saying it was being served so it went into limbo and I had to ask after it.
At this point I would have gone 3 star but the order (which contained several custom changes; no onion, etc) was 100% right and I'll be honest .... I didn't expect it to be.
It wasn't quick either. Keep that in mind and maybe order ahead?
It's McDonald's.... We're from out of country, but it's nice to have a restaurant with the same food... Frozen coke was amazing, and something we can not get in Canada... Not a fan of all orders having to be done at the kiosk
This busy store is run with military precision. Each time I am in Anaheim I stop for breakfast. The ordering is easy. They fill the orders quickly and accurately. It is always spotless.
Now I know this is just a McDonald's but I for one like to give extra credit and or credit when it's due. For example it seems like nowadays in my own opinion a lot of people that work at fast food restaurants are typically somewhat mildly rude and or give off a vibe that they are not happy in some way shape or form and I get it times and things are hard and with things like the pandemic going on situations could be a lot worse for people so when I say that and or I notice somebody that may be going an extra step to make someone else feel like they're going to have a great day or they've had a great day or at the very least the appreciation for someone and the acknowledgment of going the extra mile just to make sure that person is pleased and in this sort of business it would be customer satisfactory from the time I ordered my meal, payed at the first window and then received my food at the second window I believe I spoke with two different people and in that process both people made what would've been a average visit to a fast food restaurant, a pleasant time! Thank you
