“My daughter has been attending this school and now my son is currently enrolled. I feel that the staff is doing a great job! The principal (Erica) is always outside when we are picking up kids (in fact almost ALL staff is visible/available at this time). This makes me feel they are very approachable, and I have had many conversations with lots of staff. In fact, my daughter mentioned she has had nice conversations with the principal and the vice principal on the playground. My daughter was in private preschool so I was concerned Hummel would not be challenging enough, but they have really helped her develop in the areas she needed. Her kindergarten teacher (Ms. VanHorn) is amazing!! She really goes all out for her students, keeps parents very well informed, and gets these kids off to an excellent start. I felt they provide a loving & kind learning environment that helps kids build confidence in a diverse world. I am so pleased with this schools enforcement of the "be kind" program because her previous school emphasized competition too much. The kids were getting discouraged. I do feel as a parent, involvement/communication with teachers is key to any great experience. However, you can't expect the teachers to do it ALL! Meaning, they are your kids, so ask them questions & practice skills with them. Help the teachers by SHOWING your kids their schooling is important to you! Pro's: Teachers & staff Fun Field trips coordinated by teachers Be kind in a diverse world Con's: Parking (small area/Placid small street)- avoid it by not being in a rush! Clears out quickly”

“I went to this school since 6th grade and just finished my 8th Grade year. This school treated me amazing and was a great experience and a joy to be able to attend. Although the lunch was not the best they have been improving it and it has gotten better than it was. This school prepped me to go to SECTA and I feel more than ready/prepared. Do not listen to reviews from angry students a lot of them do not realize the great help this school is. If I had one thing to complain about it would be that YOU GUYS TOOK MY FAVORITE LUNCH MINI DOGGS aka (mini corn dogs) AWAY PLEASE BRING THEM BACK EVEN THOUGH IM NOT ABLE TO ATTEND ANYMORE. All jokes consider it tho. 5 stars”

“Kristin and Noah are my daughters' favorite instructors. They truly have hearts for teaching kids and seeing them succeed not only in swimming but also in all their other pursuits. The classes are the perfect balance of learning and fun. My girls look forward to swim class every week and are always reluctant to leave. I'm reassured knowing that my daughters can swim and be safe in the water. I have my youngest, a three year old, who will be starting lessons soon too. I know she good in the water.”

“Silvestri is a great school. My daughter was very involved with Silvestri, doing poly club, AVID, staying after school sometimes with her teachers. I would prefer my daughter going to Silvestri than the school she is at right now. My daughter knew many of the staff members and got along with them. Some teachers were tough on her, others weren't, i understand why they were tough on her. They wanted to challenge her to see what she is capable of and she passed. Thanks to the teachers and staff members, deans, and counselors my daughter has been working harder than ever. She is now an A and B student. Silvestri may not be recommended to some, but I highly recommend your child going here. They're not as strict about their dress code as students make it seem and the deans and counselors aren't awful. some teachers may be rude, but that's some not all. My daughter will always have a heart for silvestri and will always be a shark. (if you get Mrs. Taylor, you're a lucky one. That's my daughters favorite teacher )”

“My daughter has attended Seton since she was 2 years old and I can't speak highly enough about the experience. Now she is in kindergarten and I am absolutely blown away from the education she has been getting with Ms. Genie (INCREDIBLE.) Ms. Genie has my daughter excelling in every area of school - math, reading, writing, social skills, etc. My daughter is already reading so advanced and the class is working on multiplication which is really impressive for being just kinder. My daughter generally loves Ms. Genie and the entire staff. The school plans fun family filled events throughout the year. Seton is the perfect place for your child to learn and thrive in a loving, nurturing environment!”

“I used to go to the school...I liked it. There were aspects of it that were flawed but just like any school it does have a decent amount of help and the staff isn't all that bad. Now that i am in middle school just down the street, i don't really worry about it all that much. Are there really no more award assemblies? There used to be so many...and most teachers there are great you have to be in there class to really get to understand them. Sometimes there are bad encounters but like i said some of the teachers here seem rough on the outside but they are truly funny,kind,poliet people. If your so worried about somethin bad happening or want to change things, get all the parents who agree with you and next year join the PTA and try to fix it.”

“I love this school sooooo much! When I was leaving my old school I was afraid if anyone would laugh at me, but when I stepped into that class people welcomed me. I have been here 3rd grade all the way up until here, 5th. It feels nice to have “The Power” but soon in middle school I will be a kindergartner again????????. I love all the teachers and the front office. If I had a choice to stay in school or skip school and live life, I would definitely say stay in this school because it was the best experiences of my life.
