“Dude!! They now have *vegan* cream cheese! Yes, it costs $1.99 per bagel (if ordered individually). As of yet. no "gluten-free" bagels as far as I know, however the Ancient Grains worked for me. [Full disclosure, I am gluten-intolerant and *not* deathly-allergic to gluten nor do I have Celiac disease.] Einstein's Bagels now loads every bagel with at least 9 grams of protein. They have lots and lots of flavors to choose from. Want a New York style bagel? Like H&H back in Manhattan? Poppy, sesame, salt, and even "everything" flavor! It has been a while since I walked into an H&H and asked "What's hot (= fresh)?". Einstien Bagels is the go-to for me and my friends from NYC. Need extra protein? Pay 60 cents extra for the "protein" flavor. It is rectangular not round and you can still get it toasted and/or with cream cheese. Yes, it can get pricey at Einstien's, but here is a pro-tip. Sign up for their Schmear Club. (What the heck is a "schmear"? It's the New York term for a "smear"/swipe/a serving of cream cheese on your bagel. An example -- "One poppy seed, toasted with a schmear, please!" Back to our original topic. Sign up for their Rewards Club buy giving them your phone number and email. They generously give you free stuff for signing up, and on your birthday! Often a purchase is required, but still it's a great deal! On Mondays and Mondays ONLY, members of the Schmear Club get a great deal on a dozen bagels. Did I say "dozen"? I meant a BAKER'S DOZEN which means 12 +1. So you get 13 bagels. However, if you are on a budget be sure to only choose regular bagels as the "premium" ones cost 60 cents more. Even your "free" bagel could cost you 60 cents if you choose a fancy one. And the bagels freeze quite well if you want to save some for later. Einstein's is a bit more upscale than Starbucks and they have real food that you would *want* to*eat* for lunch (hummus sandwiches on a bagel, turkey sandwich on a bagel etc). Einstein's has good coffee too but if you want to hang out for hours, go to Stabucks -- EINSTEIN'S CLOSES AT 4PM because they open at 5AM or 5:30AM. EINSTEIN'S CLOSES AT 4PM. Please remember that. Please don't roll in at 3:45 and order a whole bunch of complicated stuff -- and for the love of God please don't complain if they are out of your favorite bagel at 3:45PM. Be nice!! This concludes my review if Einstein's Bagels. Thank you”
