“Written by my husband and I ? agree: I don't think you could find a better moving team then George, Raysean and Winston at all. Not only were they very polite, professional, punctual, blah blah blah...but they actually enjoyed their work. They had fun. Heck, they even competed against each other a little bit hahaha. Not one thing was damaged. Maybe you didn't read that so I'll state it again, NOT ONE THING WAS DAMAGED!!!!! Sure they may have bumped into a thing or two but since they wrapped everything so well and didn't act reckless it was no issue at all. Oh I forgot to mention, they moved our Murphy bed up a flight of stairs! I wish I would've recorded it because the teamwork, commitment and straight up brute strength was astonishing. We literally gave them a standing ovation after witnessing it. They were great with our 4yo daughter and beyond respectful to us. The price was fair and they gave us a veterans discount due to my wife's service in the ARMY. I DON'T WANT TO FORGET that aside from these gentlemen, the owners communication was timely and excellent. He did great on his part as well. I was even able to pay with my phone on the spot with different payment options to choose from. Geez another thing I forgot, we were their SECOND move of the day!!! Mind=BLOWN. I could even give more great examples. If I had one complaint it would be...probably unnecessary. TIP THESE GUYS BIG IF THEY DO THIS GREAT FOR YOU AND YOU CAN.”

“Hey everyone, I thought I would start a thread on Zelda over here on the my favorite trucking company side. As some of you know, I moved over to Zelda from Crete back in March. So far, I am very glad I made the move. As an introduction, at Zelda Logistics, all drivers earn $.48/mile and are paid off of the hub for every mile turned. My miles have been really good so far. My last trip took 11 days and I turned 5431 miles and got paid for 4 stops. The stop pay is $30/stop. Altogether, my gross for the 11 days will be $2726.88. Our trucks run 68 mph and there are no idle restrictions. Most of the trucks have some brand of diesel powered APU, except for some of the older ProStars which have a battery powered APU. My truck is a Freightliner Columbia that has 641k miles on it. It ain't the prettiest beast around, but it pulls good. I've had to call road service a couple times to fix an air leak and fix a brake problem but I can say I haven't lost any productive hours due to these issues. One of the main reasons I came to Zelda is because of their hometime policy. It's is unlike any other trucking company I have seen before. You are allowed up to 7 business days off at a time at the house. Notice I said business days. Saturdays and Sundays do not count as days off. It is possible to get home on a Friday and your first day off won't be until Monday. You could then spend the next 5 business days and the next weekend at home and still have the following Monday and Tuesday off. The only stipulation on this is that you average 2000 miles per week during the month. I have only had trouble getting home this last weekend. I didn't tell the outbound dispatcher soon enough that I wished to be home so I got stuck on a load going the wrong direction. They called today and I will be picking up a load in the morning going through the house that doesn't have a delivery appointment, so I can swing it by the house and take about 4 or 5 days off and then deliver the load. I am still trying to learn the system here and I make mistakes, but so far, most of the people here try to help. I will try to document here to the best of my abilities, my experience at Zelda. If any other Zelda drivers want to join in, feel free.”

“I had issues using the automated system to pick up my rental, so I had to go to the office and wait in line. They were busy that day and had to wait around 15 minutes,but once it was my turn,the process was fast ,the person at the front desk was nice and professional and the cargo van was clean and in good condition. Same for the drop off, although this time I didn't have to go to the office, the process was faster. Very satisfied with the service and the Van and I'll be back soon.”

We called Penske and Cheryl encouraged us to go check out the cabs. She gave us our quote in case everything was a go and Penske was indeed the best price. We went to the location at Wards towing and Michael and Ward were beyond kind and professional. We hit the right spot on the second truck and Ward made sure to help me in and out like a true gentleman. (We know to bring a step stool with us...lol) Michael made sure to encourage us to take our time up and that Penske would rather folks get to their destination in one piece.
