I just can't say how beautiful this is. Pictures don't do it justice. The stars at night are amazing. Great hikes. Campsite.
Great campground. Each site has a metal shelter, grill and a fire ring. There is also level spot specifically for tents. There is a good distance between each site. I visited the last week of January and I could not have asked for better weather. Day time was mid to high 60s amd nights were in the high 40s. No cell or wifi signal in this campground. If you want wifi you can take a short drive to Atlatl campground and pay a nominal charge. There is some cell service in other nearby areas.
Great night spent here. Quiet and secluded.
We have a small RV and had hoped to camp with hookups at Atlatal, but it was completely filled so we moved on to Arch Rock. A good amount of spaces open, almost all with covered picnic tables and metal fire pits. Beautiful campground, ample space between sites. Can walk up the rocks and watch the sunset/sunrise right from your site. Bathroom was a vault toilet, was clean enough, but if wind was strong you could sometimes smell it. It was very hot during the day so you really have to sit in the shade and hope there’s a breeze!
Was nice enough for this time of year. Neighbors really liked their generator. Too bad a ranger didn't do a drive thru. I could have stayed for free! ????
