(March 3, 2023, 1:20 am)I’ve owned 4 of these caps now and they have all worked great and perfect fit/finish. Locks are beefy/windows are well made. Keeps everything secure and allows easy access to front of bed. It’s all I’ll ever own
(January 29, 2022, 9:57 pm)We love our RSI Smartcap. Took a bit of waiting to get. Photo of crate and kitchen. The only minor issue is the keys and the propane hose when in deep subzero temps. Coffee pot makes GREAT COFFEE.
The propane hose is very stiff below 32F 0C but still usable. Key Is very different to use. I need to try adding graphite/WD-40 real issues when 17-28 degrees F outside. But otherwise it’s a champ.
The rear brake light wiring came loose (double stick tape came loose. Cargo ripped connector off wire. I have to fix that.
Also the kitchen & Grill are Uber tall and difficult to reach/use on Toyota Tundra without a stool or platform. A lower height truck would work better. Looking to build a platform.
It was worth the wait! We love it.
If wiring hadn’t broken and key action smoother and grill less of a hassle (burners separate and windscreen storage a bit of a hassle.) would give 5 stars
