Great food and service. The price is also just right.
Great location, wonderful little market, beautiful view over the valley! The sites are close together so not much privacy, but friendly folks and staff. The bathrooms are really nice - private full bath, very clean and updated fixtures throughout.
We are full-time RVers with both my wife and I and our two boys. My wife is a traveling nurse so we stayed at the Virginia City RV Park for 3 months and during that time it was a wonderful experience. The staff was more than courteous and kind with us. Clean facilities and well-stocked market. Also not to mention that you're within walking distance to the downtown area as well as some great hiking trails and ATV trails.
Just one story about how great the owners and staff are there was when we first arrived at the RV Park (driving all the way from Tampa FL) I discovered that I had an issue with getting the power to come on the camper. So our biggest problem was the temperature that night was going to drop below freezing. The owners went out of their way to ask us what the issue was and then gave us one of the cabins for the night so our family could have heat. It definitely was not something that they had to do for us but it speaks towards their character and how much they care for the people who stay there.
It's always a little bit worrisome when your a full-timer and you have two little crazy boys with you but everyone that was there including the other full-timers were more than wonderful in respectful to my family and I.
My family and I will definitely be back and I highly suggest this RV park to anyone whether you're staying just a night or even long-term.
Great, friendly little park located well for exploring Virginia City. Good facilities and clean restrooms with private showers. Fairly well-stocked convenience store on site that appears to be the only real grocery in town, but I didn't see RV supplies that are typical in many other parks. Get one of the sites on the outside of the east side of the loop for the best views!
