(May 21, 2022, 5:42 pm)Washoe Lake State Park is a great place to visit in North Nevada. Best to visit in Spring when the water level is high, the landscape is green and vibrant, and wildflowers are blooming. There are a few flat trails and one which climbs a part of the hillside and overlooks Washoe Lake and offers great views of the valley and park below. Perfect place for a day trip or to camp with friends and family.
(August 1, 2021, 8:13 pm)Absolutely loved this little park! Even in a drought the lake was still 2-5 feet deep throughout. Good enough for inflatable boats, and a day at the beach.
