“Even though I have only been in High School for 4 weeks now but so far I LOVE my teachers and the staff especially my counselor Mr. Schreiner!!! I love how they have Freshman Seminar for Freshmans, Sophmore Seminar for Sophmores, and IC which stands for Instructional Center that's for Juniors and Seniors on somedays in Freshaman Seminar, Sophmore Seminar, or IC/Instructional Center most of the time is used for homework!! Your Freshman Seminar, Sophmore Seminar, or IC/Instructional Center teacher allows you to listen to music when you're working alone and on silent work they usually allow you to listen to music! Most of the teachers are sticklers if you use cell phones without permission sometimes they will tell you to get it out!!”

“My daughter started with Christ Kids Child Center in 2015. She has a speech delay and behavorial concerns. They treated her fantastic and worked out a wonderful schedule for us so that she was getting what she needed. Between the staff and Director you can feel the caring involved in making this facility a terrific learning center. We have been blessed to have been there so long. I will be forever grateful to them.”

“I love this school. Teachers have responded beautifully to all my concerns. Even followed up afterwards. My son had an issue with a boys for a few weeks. Not sure I would classify it as a bully situation but he was teased. He tried to walk away and ignore the problem but then he had enough. He talked to his teacher and they solved it. The teacher followed up with me about what they did to solve the issue. I was impressed. I love the fun programs they do. Their PTA is great and very welcoming.”

He is the only reason I get up out of bed in the morning to go school, his lectures and lesson plans are extremely well thought out and interesting. Before my senior year I never cared or tried in math but his overall devotion to the students make me motivated to try. Not only he has an amazing selection of pencils and pen, any color. “The school itself is about average, but the teachers are a different story. Depending on whether you are chosen to be put in accelerated classes or not changes the experience you have learning. From my experience so far, I’ve heard of teachers who are at the quite low end of the spectrum who teach ‘developmental’ classes (Which I have heard before was the name for regular classes). But I’ve learned from teachers who actually want to help you succeed in accelerated classes, you get them if you show the potential and ability of wanting of learn (Or selecting an elective that promotes college readiness and AP classes such as AVID). If you are looking into this school to spend a good couple of years with, hope for AP classes or I wish you good luck in developmental.”

“The office staff are extremely pleasant, they get to know you as a parent and can recognize your voice and name and recall your child's name just from those experiences. They are very sweet women to deal with as is the principal. The special ed department is one of the best I've ever encountered. More specifically Mrs. Metzger. She is an amazing teacher and human being. She is a true asset to that school. She helped my severely autistic son become not only communicative through sign language but she helped him learn to speak. He is now able to identify all of his letters, colors, shapes, numbers to 100 and knows tons of songs and nursery rhymes, he engages in imaginative play and socializes with children his age and size. All of this in approximately 7 months time. From non verbal and multiple meltdowns to the wonderful little smart boy he is today. I We as a family feel forever indebted to her. The environment in her classroom is full of fun and energy but still structured enough to help a special needs child thrive to the fullest. She and her aid, Ms. Heather are phenomenal people and I am very grateful to have had them in my life. Even after we moved and our son encountered problems with his new classroom Mrs. Metzger went above and beyond the duties of any teacher, let alone a former teacher, to ensure I had every opportunity afforded to me to make sure my child was put into a new school better suited and more safe for my son. I honestly can't thank them enough for everything. We'll always hold a special place in our hearts for her and the whole school. Bravo for setting such an excellent example of what a school should be like.”
