EMA is one of the very best places to train. Its not just about kicking and punching, its about teaching respect by being respectful. Building character through time and patience. Attaining goals and knowing that not everything is instantaneous. And learning and goals are based on the individual. I am an instructor at Empower but I am also still a black belt student in the evening class. Learning continues even for the instructors!!!
Our three girls went to Empower Martial Arts for 10 years. It is a big part of who they are today and even though they don’t go anymore they can still walk in and it feels like family. Empower will always be a part of our family. Much appreciation to Sensei Dean and staff.
Empower has been amazing for our son and our whole family! Sensei Dean and Miss Sarah-Beth are AMAZING people and full of knowledge about life and martial arts. The family atmosphere and kids activities beyond karate are so great!
My son has been practicing karate here for 6-7 years now. Sensei Dean has become a positive and valuable role model and figure in his life. He has had made some great friends, had lots of fun and is accomplishing goals every year! If you are interested in martial arts for yourself or your child you should definitely check them out.
My children ( ages 7 and 10) started with the Empower family 2 years ago, and it has been such a joy to watch them grow and gain confidence in everything they do. I can't say enough about how much thet adore all the instructors and peers alike.
