The Owner Ed has been in the business for 45 years. Him, his son EJ and the rest of the crews were very experienced, fast and reliable. I was in desperate need of finding a company ASAP to do vinyl siding of my house before I sell it. They only took 1 job at a time and showed up to work at my house everyday( 8 hrs ) a day until the job is done. They finished the job on the time they committed. “We used Madore Construction on a historically old slate roof in Portsmouth and it was the perfect experience. They were fast, efficient, clean, polite, and respectably priced. What's even more significant is the history that preceded our hiring Madore Construction. Before we knew of Madore Construction, we'd called several other reputable roofers and on two occasions had hired a roofing contractor to get the leaky slate roof repaired. After both fixes, the roof still leaked. Other roofers we called came back with enormous bids and long sad tales of how hard this would be for them to do. Finally we found Madore Construction. They came up with a cost effective means to sett up the job, and explained how they would go about the fix, so we hired them. It's been almost 2 years, with plenty of flooding rain storms, and NO LEAKING!! Don't hire any other roofing contractor before you have a chance to talk with Madore Construction. ”

This is the second time I have called on Mitch and his crew for roofing replacement. When he last addressed my needs in 2013 it was to replace a failing southern exposure. He didn’t try to up sell me or go for total roof replacement as inspecting the north face he said there was yet years of serviceable life remaining. Finally, it was the north face’s turn. Just as then, I was extremely impressed not only with the workmanship, materials, and detail completed beyond industry standard, but the courteous and caring professionalism exhibited by all hands.
