Searles Castle

Really nice place for a gathering. I think the photographers needed to move around more but it’s my understanding they’re contracted and not really a part of the castle. The 2 guys basically covered the same parts of the room and didn’t make sure to get everyone in shots. Plus did a group shot with everyone crowded together on the dance floor!?! I thought they were about to bring a small drone out to catch some footage, nope, they just acted like they had no idea how to pose folks. They didn’t even get photos of the guest when entering. I was here for my friends wedding & knowing what clients I’ve shot for expect, I was shocked at the lack of shot planning the guys had. The castle was really amazing though. Very easy to get to as well.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL location! Incredibly interesting piece of local history, the grounds are right out of an old Victorian Era novel, complete with towers, crenellations, arched bridges, ponds, waterfalls and flower beds. The very land itself seems to emanate with tranquility and serenity. Definitely well worth the time to stop by and visit if you're in the area!!!

This is way overdue but I really wanted to take a moment to say thank you for making our day (9/18/21) so incredibly special.

I’ve always dreamt about getting married at a castle, and this one is truly a gem. The fact that it was local to us amazed me. It’s so well kept for its age. The pictures truly don’t do justice.

The staff is amazing. Shaun, our wedding coordinator, is phenomenal. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and all around trustworthy. We felt so confident and comfortable with him in charge. His communication was great and always got back to me as soon as he could.

The price to book our wedding at Searles Castle was very reasonable. We had looked at a few other venues (our hearts were set on this one, though) and the prices were really no different. It was a no brainer to book it. If you’re considering having your wedding here, don’t hesitate whatsoever.

We still have people talking about how much fun they had and how different it was from other weddings they had been to. Also consider some of their packages they offer, along with the vendors they work with.

10/10 would recommend.

I cannot say enough about Searles Castle and all of the staff who helped us have the perfect wedding. Our wedding was August 2nd and our guests are still raving about the venue! Shaun was amazing when it came to coordinating all of the details and ensuring that everything went smoothly leading up to the wedding and especially on the wedding day. He and the rest of the staff worked tirelessly to make sure we could enjoy our wedding day without worrying about the little details. We really felt taken care of. The food was delicious and our waitress even put together a plate of appetizers to make sure we got some since we took photos during our cocktail hour. The venue itself was just stunning and I couldn’t have imagined my wedding anywhere else. Searles was the first and last venue we toured, we knew once we visited that we had have our wedding there.

Searles Castle-- WOW. This whole experience was just incredible. Shaun made planning so easy and the entire staff was amazing from start to finish! They were all super accommodating and moved with a purpose, they all worked so seamlessly together. I had an accident with my foot right in the middle of cocktail hour, where I was sure I was going to have to go to the hospital, and the party would have to go on without the bride and groom. The entire staff acted immediately with first aid, getting medical attention, and even set up a hidden stool with ice under my table to elevate my foot. They all made sure I was taken care of and went above and beyond our expectations. I can’t say enough about the staff and how incredible my experience was with them all. They have an onsite catering company, and the food was so delicious! On top of all that, A BEAUTIFUL venue for a romantic, memorable, fairy tale wedding. The scenery is picture perfect, and our photos turned out phenomenally! A beautiful venue inside and outside, every inch of the castle is breathtaking. My husband and I feel so lucky to have gotten married here. If you are looking for a perfect venue for a wedding your guests will NEVER forget, book your wedding at Searles Castle!
