“Of the Granite YMCAs, Londonderry is definitely small BUT the staff members there are very friendly. Positive changes are being made to "beef up" the offerings at the Londonderry Y, which is exciting! If what you are looking for is cardio, there is a cardio room which contains a rowing machine, a treadmill, elliptical machines, Expresso bikes, and more, including some recumbent machines. There is also a decent offering of cardio strength, and yoga classes, though not enough offered in the evening hours, likely due to a lack of demand. It would be interesting to see what the turnout would be if evening classes were offered for people who would like to exercise after traditional work hours. This Y closes at 7 pm at present.”

“I joined T1 about a month ago and I absolutely LOVE it there. I played basketball in college and from the time that I graduated in 2011 up until last month, I have bounced from gym to gym trying to find a place that felt like the right fit. I used to walk into a gym and even though I pretty much knew what I was doing, I would still feel a little lost. I was always used to a strength coach guiding me through a program and so when I was on my own I lacked that guidance and motivation. I was not seeing any results from working out on my own and was pretty much throwing my money down the drain. My brother and a close friend introduced me to T1 and I was hooked right from my first time there. Tyler and Lindsey do an awesome job of giving you personal attention throughout each workout to make sure you are doing the correct movements with the appropriate amount of weight. I am almost through my 4th week there and I have already seen huge changes in my body. I used to dread going to the gym but I can honestly say I look forward to every workout at T1. We do different exercises each day/week and that variety makes it so that you never get bored. I really can't say enough about this place! I recommend it to all of my friends and family and pretty much anyone else who will listen. Try it out, I promise you will not be disappointed!”
