“I am from Philadelphia full time but also have a home in Somers Point and have been attending mass at St. Joseph's for the past two years. I love the church and the people are very friendly but, the amount of people that leave the church immediately after receiving communion is a disgrace! It seems as though half the church leaves, some still chewing on Holy Communion while walking out the door...Receiving Holy Communion is a representation of the Last Supper! We certainly wouldn't leave a dinner at a family or friends house while still chewing our meal or saying Thank you...why don't we give The Lord the same respect??”
