Our experience was pleasant. The staff members are so down to earth. We ordered a Cuban Reuben and classic bacon, egg and cheese on a roll. The food was great and with lots of bacon and pastrami! I would recommend this spot. Nothing fancy but cozy with tasty sandwiches.
Superb bagels and empanadas. Only had these two things but amazing each time. This place is always full during breakfast.
I see a lot of bad reviews about this place and they're mostly from people who think it's a fast food joint where orders come out within a couple minutes and workers are trained to take their indignations. I just had a breakfast sandwich here, and it was GREAT. Good bagel, fresh eggs and thick bacon in every bite. I treated the man at the counter with the respect due to someone working before dawn, and I got the same. I grew up around here, and it's an understood part of life: whine and treat people like they work for you and you will receive an attitude at best. Welcome to NJ. Too many snowflakes putting in reviews so I had to add my two cents.
Drove all the way from Raleigh North Carolina for the best bagel in Jersey! Highly recommend the Italian on a bagel twist for lunch and a bacon egg and cheese for breakfast. Thanks for being welcoming and offering quality food. Looking forward to coming back next time!
It's so hard to find a decent bagel place in the northern Hudson County area, thankfully Mr. Bagelsworth does not disappoint. This deli style bagel joint has a the charisma, charm, and appeal that one should expect.
The bagels are fresh and delicious with a good variety to choose from. My personal favs are egg, pumpernickel, salt, and everything bagels. I'll take egg and swiss with the hash browns inside and some salt, pepper, ketchup—and I am set. Prices are great here too; it's uncommon to find a breakfast for two under $13 these days.
Can't vouch for the self-serve coffee since I never tried it here. But there are chips on the side and deli drinks in the fridge (see pictures below). There is some indoor seating and several outdoor chairs and table (with an awning to protect you from the rain), but they can go pretty fast. So if you come in during peak hours, be prepared to take it to go.
