“Had a very scary experience of ball joint going in the middle of an intersection in Queens. It was after an almost all night work assignment. Thankfully Vatch said he’d be able to take a look at the car when I was able to get it towed in. He was straight with me that it may or may not be ready by the end of the day, depending if it needed some additional work to the obvious problem at hand. I was happy just to get the car in there on a Friday afternoon as my work depends on it. I so appreciate that they could squeeze me in. And because it didn’t need an extra part, the car was ready to go by 5pm. Grateful that I didn’t have to miss the job I had booked for Monday. J&Z is the best. “I was so happy I came across John's Teaneck Garage so close to home (walking distance is a plus!) and with so many great reviews. I know these reviews helped me to make a really good decision and get great care for my car, so I wanted to make sure that I added one of my own too. Mark is the BEST! He has installed a hitch on my car and all new brakes and rotors and I never felt like he was pushing for things that weren't necessary just to get more business (like at the dealerships) He always gives the best advice about ordering the best parts to do the job right. Mark is currently taking care of a problem I experienced yesterday, and has done everything possible to get all the parts and get it taken care of for me today, on a Friday. Even if he couldn't get the parts for today, he was going to get it done by Monday. I don't mind spending whatever the cost he charges me because I know he does quality work and is a kind, trustworthy person who is easy to work with. “I have been using Eli Auto for about 5 years now. They are extremely dependable, knowledgeable, honest and friendly. I recently took in a car for a side mirror replacement. When I called for an estimate they told me one number. They called me back an hour later apologetically to say the parts dealer had called them back and raised the price on the part. I asked them to do the repair with the higher price. When I picked up the car they said that they charged me the lower price because that is what they had quoted me originally, even though the difference came out of their pocket. This is the kind of place they are. I feel very fortunate to have them as my local mechanic. My father even brings his cars in to this shop from Long Island. Highly recommend.”
