“We had an emergent situation with our 8 year old lab Cinder. We had went to the U of Iowa first but time was of the essence and needed an MRI fast if it was a disc issue. The university did not have a technician on hand so we had to drive an additional 3 hours to here. Right away in the morning the doctor; a vet neurologist (I’ll edit my review if I can think of the doctors name) evaluated our girl. She called me; she was so kind, knowledgeable with her skill and explained everything very clearly to us. Even though we lost our dog yesterday due to the most probable diagnosis of cancer; I greatly appreciated the care she received, the kind words from the doctor. The doctor was very honest; she said we could have done additional tests but prognosis was still poor. The cost of what was needed to be additionally done was very substantial. It’s hard to know how we could have afforded that if we had to do it but none the less they were honest and told us it wasn’t worth it. I’m giving 5 stars because I feel the care was amazing. The cost is steep; and I would imagine other places are too; but at the end of the day I would have done or tried to figure it out if it was needed and could have saved her. 💛”

This Portuguese cafe is to die for, first time stepping in I ordered a toasted, buttered sweet bread & croissant ???? my boyfriend ordered the chorizo bread & a ham, egg & cheese sandwich. They have such a large selection of pastries that all looked amazing! The staff is extremely friendly. Cute place to sit and relax. Right on ridge road with ample amount of parking. Very good, friendly, quick staff who take orders promptly, correctly and are helpful in every way. The place is a little small, and cramped... Reason is because it is ALWAYS packed for dinner. Wait times can be a little long, but well worth it. Great drinks and GREAT food! We have 3 young kids, and it is TOTALLY kid friendly. The manager/owner will often come around on the floor and ask how things are going. Bathrooms are clean (men's bathroom... Can't comment on the female bathroom). TOTALLY TOTALLY TOTALLY 5 stars! You will DEFINITELY enjoy the staff, the food, the drinks and the ambiance.”

“I walked in and quickly noticed how crisp everything looked. It was clean and bright as expected from a new spot. You order at the counter in the middle and then pay at the end, but then I had to loop back around to the other side because I ordered a hot sandwich. There are tables everywhere for carious sized groups and also plenty of parking if you plan to order "To-Go" and then drive off on a hike or adventure with your sandwich. The Jersey theme is strong which is good in my book especially in New Jersey. I don't know if the beach theme will work all year around, but it made me feel the warm fuzzies. The sandwich I got was really good and hot, but apparently the cold cuts are too. My dad said they give twice as much for toppings as some other sandwich shops do which is good because Jersey Mikes is a little more expensive. Quality costs. The menu is clear and the calories are listed. You can order ahead and they also cater.”

“Rays was absolutely amazing in having our daughter’s birthday party in their side room. After years of going to Rays for just quick dinner or take out- I totally have a whole new love for Rays. Everyone who worked there, especially Alison, made is absolutely seamless and easy. It was perfect. We paid for everything ordered, without a room fee. They let us bring in a cake. “Wonderful restaurant! This is prob my favorite Chinese restaurant in Bergen county. The flavors here are authentic and they use premium ingredients for all the dishes. Highly recommend the seafood soup - I always ask for white pepper along with it - delicious. Everything was fresh and piping hot when it came out. My family and I enjoyed all the food and tea. Service was also attentive and helpful. This place would be great for any occasion and the prices are v reasonable especially for the area”
