“I've only been to one other Chickie's and Pete's and on entering this one my first thought was that it's huge with two separate bars and various dining areas. My second thought was that it was very nice on the inside with lively high ceilings and wooden decor with metal accents if you're into that sorta thing. The food came out quickly and it was great and so was our waitress. Definitely gonna be my first pick even though I live over an hour away from both locations!”

“Having lived in TX, I'm very picky about my bbq. The food was good, but their "portion" is small and there's no option to add to it. The meat should be sold by the quarter pound, and white bread should be included. The corn bread was delicious, but that's not the same thing. Also need potato salad as a side. Service was excellent, selection of sauces was nice. Restaurant was immaculate. Will def go again.”

“I didn’t realize that this gem was hidden at the end of the shopping center in the old Smash Burger location. What a great find! Our office isn’t far away and we’ve been looking for something fresh to throw into the lunch rotation. The food yesterday was really good. I took it to eat at the office which caused everyone to ask what smelled so good. So I’m back again today. There’s easily 5-7 different items to enjoy which makes this place a weekly stop at the minimum. Figure on a lunch ranging from $10-$15 which is on par with most other options.”

“Okay I give up. No more soups for me here. I really loved their soups. But the last couple years they've really gone downhill. At first it was the little things - they had a great hamburger soup in a fantastic brown sauce and then they changed it to a white cream sauce, which was actually the same sauce base as their potato soup so I guess they did it to save money which I kind of understand. And then they used to have such a large variety - as if someone in the kitchen loved to experiment - it was great seeing what they came up with but they don't do that anymore either. They had a potato and leek soup which was always fantastic but the last two times I got it it was just leek soup in that cream sauce with no potato. I thought it was a fluke but then I just got two more containers and there's no potatoes at all. It's really sad because I loved that soup! When you find somewhere with something that's unique and flavorful it's exciting which makes it all the more disappointing when they decide to change their recipes. I will say that I haven't tried their other food so I can't speak for that but the people are very friendly so I would still check it out which is why I am still leaving 4 stars just don't bother with the soup.
