(October 24, 2018, 4:53 am)I’ve used three other facilities in the past and I have to say that I am very lucky to have found Pete at South Jersey Guitar Repair. I was referred to him by a friend. Pete methodically looked over my guitar and did the repair as needed. Pete has,at this time, serviced four guitars for me with outstanding results. Thank you Pete.
(September 12, 2018, 12:10 pm)Pete is a master at his craft. I have been to 3 other luthiers/guitar repairmen in the area to no avail. Its nice to finally find a real luthier who went to an actual lutherie school and knows the ins and outs of every guitar like the back of his hand. He is a perfectionist treating every guitar as if its his own. Great customer service, consultative, and big on sharing his extensive knowledge of guitars. Fair prices for his level of workmanship. He did an immaculate bone nut, new faber bridge, and set up on my les paul custom. I will never bring my guitars to anyone else, I can't recommend sj guitar repair enough!
(August 4, 2018, 8:45 pm)I brought a couple of guitars over to SJGR and I'm really glad that I did. Pete's a great guy and he knows a lot. He gave me an honest assessment of what my guitars needed and he did a great job with them. He put a new nut on my Les Paul and it stays in tune now. He did a setup on the Lester as well as on my Strat and now they both play and sound better than any guitar I've ever played. It's amazing how much better a guitar can be when everything is tweaked just right. Highly recommended.

(July 26, 2018, 8:37 am)Pete Brown is probably the premier luthier in Southern New Jersey he's done over hundreds of guitars including vintage new repairs and upgrades. Very personable and friendly extremely honest and excellent value for your money.
