“*🇲🇽 THE FOR-REAL-DEAL “AUTHENTIC” Mexican Cuisine is finally in VINELAND NJ and open during hours that I want to eat. I ordered a Chicken Burrito my first visit; I’m a lifer now. There aren’t a lot of decorations inside or out. To be honest it’s very plain for a Mexican restaurant. The dining space is small with enough seating for no more than 50 people; give or take. Its clean and simple focusing your attention to the food alone. I was impressed by the quality, freshness, variety of ingredients and affordability. The flavors in my burrito were so well complemented I swore they must have married and were celebrating in my mouth. This burrito was LOADED. Definitely enough to split with someone special or reheat later. The party in my mouth began with green and red peppers vegetables cooked to a crisp but crispy the juices exploded while maintaining sycronicity with just the right amount of flavor-locked, chickenbreast cubes, decorated with cilantro herbs, corn and onions. Next you taste the melted layer of cheese centered right smack in the middle or the sandwich smothering a generous portion of homemade refried beans and yellow rice. I got curious and added a little salsa verde to my side salad; just a few cucumbers lettuce and tomato slices. Me and my burrito will continue to be a beautiful moment I want to relive again and again. BIG BONUS~ theres a BODEGA connected to the entrance that has really nice trinkets and random finds like homemade Jewelry and western apparel. I fell in love with a multicolored beaded rosary and (evil-eye) bracelet. Also purchased a couple of trucker caps and Mexican candies. I’m so glad this place exists!!”

“Michelle at the guard house is very nice, kind and informative. They are fast and very efficient here. Bathroom inside driver check in. Check in is between dock doors 9&10. Has over night parking. Truck stop down the road has expanded their parking they have washout and food. They will inspect tra here. So no excuse to getting you stuff cleaned out before coming here. Do what you gotta do drivers to keep this place clean and not mess it up for others…. It’s that simple…..”

“After having met David scales it is not hard to understand why his agency has such a high rating here. My mother is no longer able to however keeping her car cleaning is still very important. As I have taken on the role of one of her drivers, we drove one day to Vineland to get her car washed. While waiting for the car in the cashier area, mom said she wanted. Unfortunately neither one of us had any and the car wash was not able to run a credit card for such a such a small. Enter David scales who was also waiting for. He made the kind and gracious effort of walking over to my mom and handing her a couple of dollars cash so that she could have candy. A total stranger being so gracious and generous to my mom made a huge impression on me and I wanted to share that experience with everyone here. I can truly understand why so many of his customers think so highly of his business.”

“Baker Place is one of the nicest assisted living facilities in the area. My grandmother has been to Genesis, Bishop McCarthy and now Baker Place. Compare to the other two, Baker Place is a resort. The design is very open and light and airy. As you enter, you have to ring the bell and one of the friendly staff members will buzz you in. The desk is located on the left and then the open dining hall and common room are in the main lobby. There is plenty of seating and it has a very open atrium-like feel with bright colors (hues of yellow) and other soft tones. There are bulletin boards with events and pictures honoring veterans. The hallways are wide and there is a beautiful courtyard in the middle. The tenants each have their own rooms equipped with a mini-kitchen, bathroom and ac units. The staff is there 24/7 and the tenants can ring for help with either their device on their wrist or the string on the wall. The meals take place in the common area and the food ranges from sandwiches to hot chicken and vegetables. We went most recently for the Mother's Day Afternoon Tea and the team did such a fantastic job. The theme was Afternoon in Paris and the staff was decorated in berets, serving tea and set up all the fancy decorations with donated porcelain tea cups. It was such an inclusive event and we were told there is a Thanksgiving dinner and Italian dinner that are also very well-received and attended. Joe is the director and he has a personable style and knows everyone. There is always a nurse on site and this is really one of the nicest assisted living homes in Vineland. There is a list to get in and I can see why. Genesis and Bishop McCarthy were both horrible and I would send your loved ones here any day.”
