Pancho's Lunch Truck

It must have been a dream because it wasn't there five stars 4 keeping my hopes alive

Amazing Dominican food truck located on Avenue P, just off Wilson Ave.

The purple decorated school bus is hard to miss if you're in the area, adorned with paintings and photos of various dishes.

When peering into the kitchen through the back window, you can see a pilon used to make mofongo/mangu adorned on display.

When you approach the truck, you have a selection of daily specials, such as chicharron, pernil asado (roast pork shoulder), oven-baked chicken, and more.

Each dish comes with rice and beans and is extremely generously portioned for $7. Can't beat it. No surprises that Pancho's is a lunch favorite of many working in the area.

Best fast Dominican food! I had rice, beans, and pernil; just like how mom makes. Each day has a different meal, and they serve mangu if you get there early enough.

Definitely a must eat!
