“They cook the best chicken! I can’t precisely put my finger on it, but the recipe seem to be unique as it’s more tasteful than the others I’ve dined. It’s not the best environment, but worth to eat in or take out. However, a year ago I stopped eating from here because the chicken smelled raw although it was fried/cooked, which turned me off. Hopefully, it’s better now. A tip for those who’s not familiar with this area of Newark, be prepared for drunks, drug addicts and homeless people begging for money standing/laying down by the entrance of Popeyes. Newark has potential but it has become a sad place ????????”

“I'm so glad I found this spot. I was at Jimenez tobacco bar talking about places to eat in Newark and how I have not found a decent Dominican spot. Someone assured me that this hole in the wall will not only be the best Dominican food but the experience is authentic. They just have amazing food. So be prepared to ask "what do you have Today" because everything is cooked fresh and the quantity they make once it's gone there's no remaking. I guess the best timing to go is between 11 AM and 3 PM. I went around 4 o'clock and they only had chicharrones de puerco and rice and bean. It was bomb. There's no Dominican flag outside of the restaurant just discreetly and modest as ever. Enjoy.”

“I love me some crunchy fried chicken especially the tots with Cajun boneless chicken. The chicken is very moist soon as you bite into the chicken it almost melt in your mouth. The cashier was very helpful and polite. It was crowded at all. Soon as I walk in my order was took. The food was made right away. The lobby need to be swept but they will always have my service.”

“We were near the airport, and remembered this branch of the Sonic chain. While tonight we just stopped in for shakes, we've eaten lunch here several times. The staff is always friendly, and the service -- outside, it's from roller-skating servers -- is prompt. It's not fancy, but it's fast and good, and the shakes are excellent. The staff was very friendly, the service was quick and the food was hot. Restaurant is located just two miles from the Newark Airport Hilton Hotel.”

“Went by yesterday with a craving for fried chicken and not only did we satisfy that craving but, we also had some outstanding Short Ribs and Fried Tilapia. The Mac & Cheese was great as was the Candied Yams and the Spinach. All of this served in a clean and well lit environment by a very friendly and attentive staff. Will absolutely go again.”

“The location is not correct. This Auntie Anne’s is located in terminal C, close to gates 134 and 135. I was told the mini pretzels dogs would be ready in five minutes. These ladies are working at a fast pace. They are pros making pretzel-deliciousness.”

“Nice place. My drink was good despite it not being exactly what I had wanted. I ordered when they were swamped, so I attribute the issue to that. I'd asked the employee whether the Wolf's Bane drink had sugar, and was told it could be made without it. When I got it, it was super sweet, though, so I'm not sure if they just forgot that detail, or if this is just the unsweetened version. The drink itself tastes good, so I can't bring myself to necessarily give it a bad rating, and if you like sweet drinks, you'll be pleased. It tastes like a better version of a PSL. Next time I'll just try to be more clear so that I can get something I enjoy. Six bucks for a drink I wasn't happy with hurt my wallet a bit. I love the patio area, and the seating area inside is great too, with board games to entertain groups. Expect a long wait when they're very busy, and maybe ask more questions about the drinks for clarity.”

“Good pizza, average service. Nobody came to refill the drink. Pay attention when you're paying on the tablet select the tip % you're comfortable with, if not it will automatically select 18%. Had the Prociutto & Arugula pizza, was better than average airport food. Will come back if I have another layover in Newark.”

“I am so astonished this place doesn't have higher reviews. We are at the bar. Raul was an excellent bartender and waiter. The spirits choices were top notch. The little neck clams and kumomoto oysters on the half shell were sweet and succulent and not a piece of shell or sand to be found. The French Dip was one of the best I've ever had! The dish and chips were good, but the breading was a little heavy. We made an excellent choice with Saison. Will definitely return on our next layover!”

“Nice quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of EWR. About 40 seats in total but doesn't seem too be terribly crowded. Food is good and "real" which means not "sandwich wrapped in plastic". Good portions and sizes, good quality and nicely prepared. Do allow at least an hour or more to dine here. Ambience is calm and quiet, nicer than the Polaris and other lounges. Sit back and gaze at the planes on the tarmac ... ... ...”
