“My brother was driving from my house in Jersey City to his house in Maryland. His car broke down at 10 PM on Sunday evening. We had the car towed to the gas station right off exit 2 on the NJ Turnpike. I drove down and picked him up and we left the car. I didn't know how we were going to take care of the situation with him in Maryland and me in Jersey City. Lucky he broke down close to Davis Automotive. I called there explained the situation to Ed, the owner. He was incredibly understanding and even offered to drive over to the gas station and check out the car. He was able to tow it to his shop without the keys. I arranged to have the keys sent to him so he could diagnose the problem, turns out it was a transmission issue. He gave us a very reasonable price for the parts and repair. Unfortunately the car was fairly cheap and not worth it for us to repair. Ed offered to exchange his service fees for the car, which worked out for us. So we sent him the title and he mailed back the license plates. It was so refreshing to deal with a mechanic who was looking out for my best interest. I'm so happy I called Ed and I'll forever be grateful for his help during this difficult situation. “I thought it was a bad muffler but it turned out to be a cracked flex pipe. John from Schoener's called to let me know what the problem was and then gave me 2 cost options, which I really appreciated. Schoener's completed the job in just a couple of hours. The work was completed quickly and professionally. I absolutely recommend Schoener's as honest, professional and knowledgeable. Like some of the other reviewers, I agree that they treated my car as if it was their own. I would give 10 Stars if I could, they are that good!!”

“Stopped for breakfast, on Saturday morning, seated within 10 minutes. I had country omelet wife had bacon and egg sandwich. Served quickly, coffee was hot but too thin for me. I didn't leave anything for a box but wife filled up on about half the sandwich. I was hungry. There was no lack of portions. Recap, food good, coffee depends on taste, price, very reasonable. We enjoyed. Service, quick and polite.”

“My daughter has been taking voice lessons here with Laura for years. We love that Laura is actually a professional singer with a band and real world musical experiences. This way she can actually sing with my daughter to teach her rather than only teach book learned techniques. Her style is laid back, relaxed, and friendly but she still pushes my daughter to grow and improve and gain confidence in her abilities. Their new location is a great environment for lessons too and conveniently located!”
