“Best fried pickles I have ever had! Stopped in here today for some takeout on the way to Eight & Sand. I did not set high expectations because of the mixed reviews on Yelp, but Fat Louie's really impressed me. I ordered a mini meatball sandwich with provolone cheese, my boyfriend ordered the mini cutlet sandwich, and we split a small order of fried pickles. The meatball sandwich was amazing, his sandwich was good, and we both agreed that those fried pickles were the beat we have ever had. The pickles are cut thick with only a little breading that does not fall off. The dipping sauce was perfect. We may pick up another order on our way home! That's how good they were. We inquired about their pizza while we were there and we're advised to try the Buffalo chicken pizza, so we'll probably be back soon for that. And more fried pickles of course.”

The menu is not super extensive but has a great selection of burgers and bar fare, which was perfect for us! We had four adult meals and two kids meals and everyone was very happy with their meal. “As a vegetarian, I could vouch that this place is great. The food is absolutely phenomenal, especially the milkshakes. I have the veggie sandwhich, and the vegetables are cooked very well, along with the cheese being insanely melted. The burgers are also very good, as I have heard from others I know. The peanuts add a nice asthetic that I have not seem emulated anywhere else. Amazing quick burger spot, must go.”
