“My wife and I have visited over the years and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Towards the end of the former owners tenure the place definitely seemed to get a little tired. New owners, new chef and new menu, very exciting. Nice to see some fresh ideas and energy poured into this place. I had the skirt steak, excellent! Wife had scallops which she loved. It seems like there will be menu rotations after talking with Chef Laurie which is great it will give us a reason to come more often.”

“So we were at the Alstede Farms in Chester yesterday and after a fun time at the Farm my son started to have a craving for Bagels, I googled and stumbled onto this store named The Bagel King, I kind of liked the name and to my surprise the Bagels were scrumptious with so many different varieties of Cream Cheese along with Freshly brewed coffee. We also had Hersheys Ice Cream and to sum it all it was a great experience.Must visit place if you are in the neighbourhood.”

“This place is very awesome. They always answer the phone after the first ring and take my order accurately without ever making any mistakes. They promise delivery within 30 minutes and have never fallen short on their promised delivery time. They are honest when it will take longer and will tell me to expect 45 mins when they are busy. Either way, it is worth the money i spend, and worth the wait. The food is excellent, the employees are friendly and courteous and the best thing of all... THEY ARE THE BEST PIZZERIA IN THE AREA!!! Many places to choose from, I have tried them all, but this place is my number 1 choice. Hampton Pizza is awesome! The only thing I would like to see them change is to offer Coca Cola Classic and Diet Coke in the can. Everyone knows that soda in the can is colder and crisper. “Nik's Wunderbar is an okay German-ish restaurant and bar, with an ample selection of both German food and also American bar food for those who are not fans of morsels from Deutschland. Right off the bat, it should be said that there really aren't other German food options for this area, short of driving to the Lehigh Valley, or even NYC, and so Nik's Wunderbar fits the bill in this regard. Service was pretty great on the night I went with my family. I never caught his name, but our friendly, Prince-loving server was a former club kid (his words) from Nashville who moved up north many years ago. He was a character, and part of the reason I am giving Nik's 4 stars versus 3. The food also came out quickly on the night we went, and since we were the only customers that night for the vast portion of our time sitting there, this makes sense. For an appetizer, I tried the pierogies with onion and butter. They were 100% Mrs. T's frozen pierogies in a gloopy, weird, brown butter sauce with sauteed onions. I'll admit they tasted good, but the presentation was sort of horrifying. I'd honestly recommend working on how this is presented. And for my main course, I opted for the kielbasa with a side of spatzle and sauerkraut. The kielbasa was a much smaller size than what many other pubs/restaurants/biergartens that I've been to have served me. It also came on a super thick piece of Italian bread. Maybe some people enjoy this bread-meat ratio, but I'd be happier with more kielbasa and less bread. With that said, it was enjoyable. The sauerkraut was decent, too. The spatzle on the other hand was greasy, semi-hardened, and clearly past it's prime. To enhance my meal, I of course enjoyed German lager. It's a German-ish restaurant after all. All in all, Nik's is okay. The food is solidly "so-so", or 3 stars. But our service was great, and so things even out to 4 stars overall. My amateur tip for this restaurant is this- focus on a smaller menu, and really perfect the German items that you're serving, because that's your niche.”

In total I would say we ordered at least 1 thing from each part of their menu and the portions were not only massive but very delicious and had a great flavor. For the amount of food we walked away with I would say the price was fair seeing as we all had atleast had enough food left over for another meal. The staff was friendly, polite and attentive when we went to go pick up the food. I eat Italian often and do plan on ordering from this company in the future as they exceeding my expectations on my first visit.”
