This place is unreal. The food is impeccable and they seem to do it effortlessly. I love the no frills about it. I'm drooling thinking about it. They actually cook their pasta al dente (the proper way). Their steak is insane. Tomato salad with blue cheese... Get out of here.
Been going here 45 years, a hidden jewel in central Jersey that has no equal. It's intimate and exclusive yet approachable. The steak chicken pastas and salads are detectable. The salad dressing is my favorite anywhere I have ever eaten. If I do not move 3 hours away, this would be my go to venue period! Ask for Peter he i s the man behind the curtain.
