“ A very unpleasant visit and unprofessional discussion of money owed to dr in front of a waiting room full of people after being discussed with receptionist dr proceeded to intervene to give her feeling on the the situation. Staff is always changing very confused with insurance and payments the staff needs to check insurance coverage before seeing patients so patients don't receive high bills after seeing them multiple times and then staff waits til patients arrive to appointments and tell them payment of $600 is due today or you can't be seen. At the end of the day it's the patients responsibility to check on their insurance but it will be a little more considerations on the staff to a least take the extra effort to tell the patients if there's a problem before they take off work just for you to tell them you can't be seen today. Especially when they call you a half hour before your schedule appt.t to remind you another family member has a bill and can take a partial payment for them Staff need sensitivity and communication skills training”
