“Clean and inviting. Just wish 1. There was a sprinkler system like the park on joyce kilmer has for the kids to play in. 2. That the city would fix the exercise section and the baseball field. 3. That the city would pave a path from the park to the school to make it easier for those who have strollers or wheel chairs to access the park.”

“I love to come to this park for runs. It has a great trail for doing a quick mile, 5K or just some speed training or short run. It is close enough to Johnson’s Park and you can extend your run into Johnson Park for longer runs with different scenery through the run. I’ve had the fun of spotting deers as I loop around the bushy parts on the George Street side of the Park. The gardens in front of the great house are very beautiful in the spring and summertime, and worth seeing.”

“Great idea to stay open during the winter months. I go once or twice a month for stuffed cabbage from Stefan, and a few Fusion Empanadas. Other vendors are there with desserts, Italian food, seafood, some produce, and other items. It's semi- covered with the new pavilion, so you stay dry even on rainy days like today. The attached picture is from last August.”

“There used to be really good basketball games under the lights in the summer. However, Rutgers refuses to fix the lights. As the bulbs die, they won't come and replace. We've called the responsible party multiple times with no action taken. Still a decent park with basketball courts, tennis courts, a BBQ and sitting area, great space to take a walk/jog.”
