(July 16, 2022, 12:01 pm)I cannot say enough about how courteous and professional Ellen, David, and Gina were during the process of selling our home. The knowledge that they brought to the table was truly impressive. Within days of having our home listed and shown we were under contract with an offer substantially over our asking price. Selling your home is at times stressful. Ellen and her staff were always willing and able to take our questions and concerns and work to provide us with the best possible answers and options. I can't imagine anyone providing you better service in the sale or buying of a home than Ellen and the people at Ellen Rosenbaum.
(April 12, 2022, 6:34 pm)We reached out to David the end of year to start our home buying process the beginning of the New year. In this insane market here we are at the beginning of April as new home owners. David’s amazing negotiation skills enabled us to only make one offer. It was accepted and not even at best and final. We would highly recommend him as your realtor - buying or selling. He is highly knowledgeable and has years of experience. Best of luck whether you are buying or selling!
(December 7, 2021, 9:00 am)Buying and selling a house is difficult enough, buying and selling your parents home when they are not thrilled about the idea of moving is even more difficult. Ellen and David were the perfect team for us. David worked with my husband and myself to guide us through the process and to ensure that we were able to find and buy the perfect house for our parents health and happiness. Ellen worked with my in-laws to make sure that they were comfortable with the sale and to support them through a very emotional process. We went from "we will never move" to being completely moved into a new home within 6 months, and that never would have been possible with the Rosenbaum team. Each one of them played a role in making this transition a success. We cannot thank them enough for helping our family through this, they took care of us not only financially but emotionally and you cannot ask for more from a realtor.
(September 3, 2021, 11:20 am)Ellen Rosenbaum sold us our first home in Old Bridge in 1995. She was (still is) WONDERFUL!!!! Ellen really helped us with all our questions and fears as first-time home buyers. She was dedicated, hardworking, kept us informed, and always looked out for our best interests and specific needs – having a one-year-old son, my husband needing a garage, my commute to Manhattan – and so much more. I remember one house, which was very nice, but they had carpeting throughout and cats. My child had shown signs of being very allergic. Ellen said we need to move on and keep looking.
Fast forward 2021. My husband passed away and our son is an adult living in another state. I need to sell our house. Ellen to my rescue! We got together, she told me exactly what I needed to do, and fortunately I listened. My house sold in no time, and I am beyond grateful for how much it sold for. It’s because of Ellen’s expertise. There were a couple of times I was scared, stubborn or tired and didn’t want to do what Ellen recommended, but I did it because I trust her. I really do. She is an extraordinary person and real estate professional. She hasn’t changed from 1995 to 2021 except she’s even more knowledgeable and experienced. But as far as a person and real estate agent – still the absolute BEST!!!!
Be prepared for the energizer bunny! She just keeps going and going and going! I am so very very thankful.
(August 7, 2021, 6:33 am)David Rosenbaum is one of a kind. We've dubbed him the "Morganville Miracle Man", and if you've had the pleasure of working with him, you know what I'm talking about. If you are looking for a home anywhere near Monmouth County, look no further.
David is not only a real estate agent, he worked as an engineer for years (me being an engineer also, I naturally gravitated toward him). David takes this experience to the next level, offering advice, pointing out potential problems or demonstrating how well built a home is, all from an engineer's perspective. His knowledge of residential construction in the area over the last 50 or so years is impressive. This talent of his was crucial in buying a home in this insanely aggressive market. In order to even have our offers considered, we needed to wave the home inspection. My wife and I found ourselves completely comfortable doing this because David was always able to not only provide the peace of mind a home inspector could offer, but also give us realistic estimates of how much money certain things that needed fixing would cost, so we could take that into account with our offer.
David is an absolute joy to work with. His energy and sense of humor are perfect for this business. I never once felt pressure from David to wave appraisals, home inspections, add a little more to my offer, etc. He would always provide practical advice for how to win a home while making my wife and I always feel completely in control. He would roll in any direction we wanted, and keep us as informed as possible to make sure we were making the right decision. Once we reached a point where we were ready to go "all in", David put his tenacity to work helping us go in "guns blazing" as he would say. He relentlessly maneuvered around the seller’s agents to make sure that our offer was always in the forefront. I sat back in awe a few times, watching him negotiate, coming up with things that I would never dream of saying or doing.
My family just moved into what I can honestly say is our dream home. I know with 100% certainty that this would never have happened had we not met David Rosenbaum. David leveraged not only his skills, but his relationships to seal the deal that won us our home. Something else that I noticed over time is that David has a good working relationship with countless realtors in the area. Had he not been able to vouch for us, putting his own reputation on the line to more or less guarantee that we would close on our deal, the seller's realtor would have certainly passed on our offer. When push came to shove, he wasn't buying something as much as he was selling us to the seller.
As much as David is a natural negotiator, skillful engineer and knowledgeable realtor, he is genuine, kind and funny. We come from Staten Island, and would need to coordinate meeting David after work or on weekends, making a 45 minute drive to see houses. This never really felt like a chore, being more exciting and fun because David made it so. Even when we saw a home that we knew the moment we pulled up that it wasn't for us, David made it a fun experience that always had a take away.
David won us our dream home, and like I stated at the opening of this review, we would not be here now without him. I honestly don't believe any other realtor that we met compares to David and would have been able to do what he did to get us here. We are forever grateful to him. I would recommend David to anyone, and already have to some family members who have expressed interest in moving to the area. If you've read this review, call him. He won't let you down. And when the smoke clears he'll leave you wondering how you ever bought or sold a home without him.
