“Today at 2:16 pm someone stole my sons Christmas present off my porch. I have the ring door bell which caught everything on camera. I was waiting for my daughter to get out school when I pulled away to see if I was able to confront the the gentleman who stole my package. He has left the scene I drove down my street to find him walking and confronted him about my package he denied everything even though I had him on camera. I call SP PD dispatch was amazing responding and making sure they received all the information about the person. I followed over to a place where one went inside and as I pulled up I had a bunch of officers ready to go. Helped me so much and they got those evil people! Thank you so much for everything and helping! Fast response great officers! Thank you again South Plainfield Police Department! Keep up the amazing work and keeping our town safe!”

“This past Friday morning 2-24-2017, my mom had a mild attack of some kind so I turned off rt 130 onto 522? Following the hospital signs then she had another attack in what I thought was a heart attack. I went thru a red stop light, Though I stopped first (clear intersection with hazards lights on and blowing horn ( I will gladly take that ticket) trying to get to hospital, I called 911 and they had me pull over so they can locate me via cellphone and had the police and ambulance there with in a very, very few minutes. Mom had 3 seizures that day but no heart attack (yeh) and she is hospitalized to find out why but is ok. I don't not know who the 911 dispatcher was or the officer or the EMTs but I want to say a big thank you for all your help and quickness. According to Google maps I had no idea that I went right pass a police station (black cars) so I am going to guess it was that station that showed up if not thank you too.”

“Gotta share this wonderful story! I live in Lakewood NJ a growing town of more than a 100k Orthodox jews living here , the state police is usually not such a welcoming sign in Lakewood, as that would indicate an expensive ticket blitz around our town, but my perception changed as today on 8/22/2018 I was waiting online in wawa in lakewood nj to pay for my coffee, and in front of me is a state trooper in work uniform paying for his lunch, when it came my turn to pay, the cashier tells me to my shock that the state trooper has paid for my coffee!! And i am a orthodox Jewish male and not used to receiving gifts from any stranger (the jewish population here in lakewood is pretty much hated here) So to get my coffee paid for on a random sunny Wednesday by a random sweet new Jersey state trooper is refreshing as can be!!! Thanks guys for keeping me safe and for keeping my eyes open with the free coffee :)”
