“I visited Squan Beach Life Saving Station #9 during the Lighthouse Challenge, and it was such a fascinating stop! This historic station, built in 1902, was part of a network designed to save shipwrecked sailors along the Jersey Shore. It’s incredible to think of the brave crews who worked here, often risking their lives to rescue others in dangerous conditions. The station is beautifully restored, with displays and artifacts that give you a real sense of what life was like for the lifesaving crews. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate, adding to the experience. Highly recommend a visit for anyone interested in maritime history or local heritage!”

Two years ago review: Stopped to pick up a quick breakfast sandwich and found a great breakfast place. Lots of long weekend brunch specials! We got a steak and egg sandwich with pepper jack cheese and caramelized onions! Yummm! My husband commented on how fresh the roll was. Nice people. The deli case was filled with fresh meats. Their roast beef looked amazing. Prices were great.”
